The first reason

Monasteries are not so much tourist facilities as the daily life of the people.

See mountain Ararat. For Armenians, Ararat is not just a mountain, but a symbol of the country, its soul, which by the will of fate ended up on Turkish territory. As you probably know, according to the legend, Noah landed here during the Flood, so the mountain has many secrets and secrets. Ararat can be clearly seen in Yerevan, and the best in the city is to look at it, rising to Cascade early in the morning. See how the first rays of the sun touch the slopes of the mountain and begin to illuminate the city. An even more magnificent view opens from the Khor Virap Monastery, where again it is better to arrive early in the morning.

Drink delicious healing mineral water. Take a trip to the resort of Jermuk, famous for its curative mineral water. There is also a plant where this very water is bottled and sent to stores all over the world, including Russia, the official supplier of the Kremlin. In terms of their composition, the waters of Jermuk are close to the waters of Karlovy Vary and Zheleznovodsk. Everywhere in the cities of Armenia, you can find well-appointed fenders with drinking water, it is clean and free, it saves a lot during the hot summer.

Listening to jazz is a whole art for Armenians, not just music. He was able and loved to play in Yerevan, later several jazz cafes opened, for example, the Malkhas Jazz Club, where it is always atmospheric and a lot of people. Ulikhanyan Club, Club 12, Stop Club, Poplavok Jazz Cafe, Yan's club - these are just some places where people come to listen to high-quality live music.

To drink real cognac. Armenia is known for its cognacs, and it would be foolish not to try them here. Go to the “Ararat” or “Noah” cognac factory, where they will show the whole process of making a strong drink, give you a chance to taste 3, 5, 7, 20-year-old cognacs. There you can buy it yourself and friends as a gift. In addition to brandy, Armenia produces good “Areni” wine at a factory near the village of the same name. We liked it no less than Georgian.
The sixth reason

In Armenia, Russians love and respect, and when they learned that we were from Siberia, they smiled in general. You can start talking to you just in the supermarket, on the street, in the park, asking where you were from, whether you like Armenia. And at the end will give the phone to call, if you need help. Thanks to such communication, traveling around Armenia becomes not only more interesting but also more comfortable.
