Kenya

Kenya is the original home of safari. The country is blessed with beautiful highland scenes, savannah grass plains,  lakes, mountains, and the white sand beaches of Mombasa, Diani, Malindi, Watamu, and Lamu. Kenya has maintained its allure attracting wildlife lovers all year round. Kenya Safari has dominated the tourism industry both locally and internationally. The safari has now been referred to as a wildlife holidays destination. The famed friendliness of the Kenyan people makes a visit to Kenya an attractive holiday and safari destination for individuals, families, couples on honeymoon and culture lovers.

With well-developed tourism infrastructure, a fairly developed road network, airstrips dotting all areas of the country and 3 airports, 2 of which are international, Kenya tourism caters for all. Africa Vision Safari offers budget and luxury safari. The climate in Kenya is pleasant throughout the year. Temperatures range from 28 degrees on hot days to 12 degrees centigrade on cool days. Wildlife safaris can be done in Kenya throughout the year. There are animals in the parks all year round. Most popular safari period is from December to March and June to October, the latter being most popular due to the great wildebeest migration in Masai Mara.

The rain season falls between late March to April and late October to November. These are the least popular times to visit the national parks but at the same time are the best dates to get great bargain prices on safaris and see lots of wildlife without too many tourists in the parks. The cradle of mankind, home to fierce Masai and Samburu tribesmen. World-famous parks Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli, Samburu, Tsavo West and Tsavo East are a must-visit on a safari in Kenya.

Tanzania

Tanzania is one of largest countries in Africa with an abundance of wildlife, world heritage sites, beautiful beaches, archaeological sites and Africa’s highest free-standing mountain- Mount Kilimanjaro. Zanzibar white sand beach is a lover’s paradise. Tanzania is best loved for its wildlife. The world-famous Serengeti National Park is home to millions of wildebeest, zebras and antelopes which form the world’s largest overland animal migration that is most of the year based in the vast Serengeti National Park before migrating to Masai Mara in Kenya for 3 months and back to Serengeti in the never-ending cycle of life.

A Tanzania safari is not complete without a visit to Ngorongoro Crater where the Masai People and wildlife have coexisted since the beginning of time. Home to the Oldupai Gorge archaeological site where human footprints have been preserved by a volcanic rock over the millennia, this is the true cradle of mankind – where it all began. Cultural and heritage visits where you are able to interact with the Masai people and enjoy cultural dances, village visits and get regaled with tales of the old days when boys killed lions, armed with only a spear to become real men. For trekkers and mountain climbers, Mount Meru near Arusha, Ol Donyo Lengai, and the majestic Kilimanjaro will provide great mountaineering experiences.
