An excellent tour of the old Jewish neighbourhood of Bucharest
A very interesting tour guided by Andrea, covering the history of Romanian Jews, the main places in the neighbourhood, and its architecture. The highlight was the visit to the Koral Synagogue, with the multilingual presentation there by the local Gabay. We learned a lot and enjoyed very much the whole 3.5 hour tour.
The commonist tour - an absolute must!
Our guide Andreea gave us an extensive tour through Bucharest in commonist times. With a broad range of knowledge and passion, Andreea took us through the city and spoke about the architecture, history and political effects Bucharest experienced. A must-have tour that makes you start understanding this city.
Informative, eye-opening and a must-do!
It's my first time in Bucharest and I found this great package tour! I have been to many tours all around Europe however this one resonated with me differently. Andreea (Tour guide) was incredibly knowledgeable, very attentive and willing to help our inquisitive minds. The tour was insightful and well organised.
I would highly recommend adding this to your holiday itenirary.
PS: We were surprised with Romanian snacks:)

Very fascinating Communist Tour with an insightful guide
We enjoyed the 3 hour Communist Tour very much! The guide was engaging and very knowledgeable about the history of Bucharest and the conditions during the Ceaușescu regime.
In our group, we had a history enthusiast with (alleged) mastery of the subject, and our guide was even able to repeatedly lecture him on historical (and automotive) facts.

Excellent tour of Bucharest's communist history
I've been to Romania several times and know much about the country's history, but I still learned many things on this tour. Andreea was an excellent tour guide: very knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about conveying to others what communism did to her beautiful country. Highly recommend.

Great Time on the Tour
The Communist walk with Andrea was wonderful. We arrived in Bucharest and experienced the first fall temperature drop. It was chilly and rainy but Andrea continued to provide a knowledgeable tour with a smile. She clearly explained the experience of the Romanian people from the time of communism to the rebellion. We passed many beautiful buildings and truly felt the city come alive on our tour. I strongly recommend participating in THIS tour around the capital if ever in Bucharest.
