Yesterday, I had a Central Hiroshima, Miyajima and food tour with a couple. The weather forecast looked like it was going to rain but it only managed to rain just a little throughout the day. The Client wanted to go see the Miyajima Torii Gate and we managed to catch it at low tide. We were able to walk up to the Great Torii Gate and touch it. She got an added bonus because by the end of the day I taught her how to use her iPhone camera features. We visited the Itsukushima Shrine and walked our way back down to the ferry. We had just a little commute back to central Hiroshima and went to a sushi restaurant. I would highly recommend Hamazushi Sushi restaurant. They offer different types of sushi. From there, we went to the Bomb dome and visited the Memorial Peace Park Museum. Finally, we made it over to the Hiroshima Castle and enjoyed seeing all the body armour and the katanas. They were able to see everything on their to-do list. Overall, it was a good day.
