NATIONL PARKS;

The national parks of Cameroon are rich in flora and fauna and are the best sites to protect these wonderful gifts from nature. These parks well known because it brings together many animals like giraffe, the ostrich, the gazelle, the lion, the elephant and a variety of birds.These parks are open for visitors from November 15 to June 15.


NATURAL RESERVES;

In addition to national parks, Cameroon has many reserves devoted to flora and fauna. These include the Dja, the Mbi Crater, the Kalfu, the Ossa Lake, Santchou, Kimbi, Takamanda Forest and Ejagham Forest Reserves ... to name a few.

The Dja and Lake Ossa Reserves are sanctuaries for gorillas and chimpanzees and various other animal and plant species can be observed here. The rest is characteristic of bird species, medicinal plants and aquatic lives.


SANCTUARIES;

Outside parks and reserves available in Cameroon, you can also find sanctuaries. Those are small rehabilitation facilities and of primate care located in a part of the country created for the conservation and protection of endangered wildlife extinction. The most common is the Mengame in the south and the Mefou shrine in the center.


CULTURE;

In addition to natural features, Cameroon is a culturally diverse country. With a population of more than 22 million, Cameroon has more than 250 tribes from north to south and from East to West, each tribe identifying its cultural entity. This can be recognized by their clothing, their languages, their cultural rights, their food together, their constructions architectural and their hospitality.


FESTIVALS

Cameroon has a very great ethnic diversity which gives several festivals organized in different regions. We can list some of them which are commonly celebrated as; the Ngondo, Nguon, Festibikutsi, Nyan-nyan, Ku-kang in Mbiame etc.


CONDITIONS OF ENTRY TO CAMEROON


VISA:

All visitors except nationals of Cameroon must hold a passport and a visa valid. The visa can be obtained from diplomatic missions and consulates abroad. The visa is also issued at entry points of police immigration. The people wishing to obtain a visa at the airport or one of the entry points of the land must complete a visa form with a passport photo.


PASSPORT AND VISAS:

You must have a valid passport and have obtained all visas, permits and certificates appropriate for Cameroon. Your passport must be valid for six months after the journey. It is your responsibility to make sure that you are in possession of good visas, permits and certificates for your trip. We are not responsible if you are refused entry to a country because you do not have the correct passport, visa or other travel documents but assistance can be done if require from Cameroon.


HEALTH:

A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required and a preventive treatment against Malaria is essential. The use of a mosquito repellent is also recommended and avoid drinking iced or cold water under tropical heat.
