  • Shebenik - Jabllanice National Park

The Shebenik-Jabllanicë National Park is a national park in eastern Albania adjacent to the border with North Macedonia. It is specifically marked by a mountainous landscape supplied with glacial lakes, valleys, dense coniferous and deciduous forests, and alpine meadows and pastures. It is home to 14 glacial lakes. 


  • Dajti National Park 

Dajti Mountain is also a National Park in Tirana, which you can go on top with a cable car or driving by yourself. The remarkable thing is that you can also play minigolf there and it is another adventure park which you can enjoy with your family.

  • Divjake - Karavasta

The Divjakë-Karavasta National Park contains remarkable features such as wetlands, salt marshes, coastal meadows, floodplains, woodlands, reed beds, forests, and estuaries.  Because of the park's essential and significant availability of bird and plant species has also been identified as an Important Bird and Plant Area of international importance.

  • Butrint National Park 

The Butrint National Park is a national park in southern Albania. The park encompasses hilly terrain with freshwater lakes, wetlands, salt marshes, open plains, reed beds, and islands.  Its mandate includes protecting the lake and lagoon of Butrint, the natural channel of Vivari, the islands of Ksamil, and the archaeological site, which provides valuable remains of ancient civilisations.

  • Karaburun - Sazan Marine Park

The Karaburun-Sazan Marine Park is a marine park in the Vlorë County of southwestern Albania and includes the boundaries of both the Peninsula of Karaburun and the Island of Sazan. It is home to a vast array of landforms, including mountains, caves, islands, depressions, bays, cliffs, canyons, and rocky coasts, all contributing to an exceptionally considerable biological diversity.

  • Llogara National Park

The Llogara National Park is a national park centred along the Albanian Riviera in Southwestern Albania. The park's terrain includes large alpine meadows, vertical rock faces, precipices, and dense forests. 

  • Lure National Park

The Lurë-Dejës Mt National Park is a national park in northeastern Albania. Higher plant life consists mainly of coniferous and deciduous trees, particularly around the shores of the lakes.  In 2018, the park was expanded and renamed Lura-Mt Dejes National Park to include the former Zall-Gjocaj National Park.

These National Parks are situated high in the Albanian Alps. Even though sometimes it may be hard to reach because of the unpaved road, you will thank yourself you didn't give up when you get there. The views and the beauty of nature will amaze you.

  • Qafe - Shtama National Park

Qafshtame National Park resides on the edge of the mountain chain north of Tirana. It is named after the Qafë-Shtamë passage, with beautiful mountain scenery consisting mainly of pine forests, small lakes, and primary water sources. The park was established in 1996 by the Albanian government and becoming lately a popular attraction for hiking.


  • Tomorri National Park

It is a national park in southern Albania. Tomorri Mountain is one of the highest in Albania; it is worth visiting both in winter and summer. In summer, you can hike, visit the Sotira waterfall, collect flowers and medicinal plants. In winter, hiking is a little tricky because of the snow, but it is still available.
