  • Chateau Iveri in Varjanisi village. It is a high-class Ethno style hotel with a winery. The vine planted on the slopes of Varjanisi has been cared for by the owner's family for more than a century. Their cellar preserves the ancient Georgian tradition of winemaking.  Chateau Iveri offers various touristic services: accomodation, meals, experiencing local cuisine, folk art and crafts, and wine tasting.


  • Goderdzi Alpine Garden in Goderdzi village. This Alpinarium is unique for the Caucasus region. This botanical garden specialises in the collection and cultivation of alpine plants growing naturally at high altitudes worldwide. Over the past years, the Alpinarium has developed its infrastructure significantly, allowing for maximum comfort and the expansion of services.

  • Glamping TAGO. It is situated close to the cable car station in Khulo municipality. The project started in 2017.  Glamping facilities include a yurt bar/restaurant and 6 tents of different categories. It is the perfect place for those who want to relax while being surrounded by panoramic mountainous Ajara views, far from the urban lifestyle.

  • A new biking route through Keda to Shuakhevi municipalities with a total distance of 27km now represents attractive opportunities in the Ajara region.

To sum up, the Ajara region in Georgia, situated on the Black Sea seaside with its subtropical climate, is beautiful all year round. It became beloved by international investors supported by the EU with a total budget of Eur 179.5 million (2013-2022).
