The sequence of visits may slightly change at any time in accordance with the opening hours of the sites and museums. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Amount of people in a tour group
We at Monterrasol Travel deal only with small group tours, private or not private. Generally, all tours we offer are for group 2 to 5 people. Some short tours, usually summer tours up to 5 days, can take six people. Luggage people limit the size of the group can bring. We count that every person will have one suitcase and one handbag. Under those conditions to the car, comfortable fit no more than five people with described luggage. On the long tours like 2 or 3 weeks or more, with large suitcases and some additional bags, better form a group with four people maximum.
Under the exceptional price condition, we can provide tours of any duration for a single person. Such tour is considered a private tour for a single person, and so have a higher price.
Languages from our side
As was said, English spoken driver and tour director with being with you. Depending on conditions, tours, free time and your request, on tour with you can be a native speaker of Spanish or Russian languages, with an adequate English level at the same time. Some base knowledge of additional languages, such as Italian, French, Portuguese, Czech, Serbian, and Croatian, can also depend on people who will be with you from us. Everything above is for free. Other languages and the native or near-native level of additional languages from the list above, can be provided on request, subject to availability, at an extra charge. Please request it in proper time.
Please keep in mind, a professional tour guide must be hired on the place if need. What that's mean? For example, our group arrives at Mycenae, a UNESCO archaeological place. There are their own certified guides on the place. No other person except a certified guide for Mycenae is allowed to guide. This is monitored by local security and so-called tourist policy people.
Age restriction
Generally, we see our tours comfortable for people from 12 to 90 years. Due to the nature of our tours, we don't think that kids under 12 are suitable. If you think the contrary, contact us. About the upper limit of the age, this is totally up to you and your comfort. We can always adjust your private tour to suit your needs. Our people will always help you with your luggage and accommodation. Once again, talk with us!
For people with kinetic/physical disabilities
Our tours involve walking on irregular, uneven or inclined surfaces. It is hard to follow for people with kinetic/physical disabilities. Our driver will help in a normal human manner, but driver js just a driver. We at Monterrasol are not equipped to escort Tour Participants with extreme difficulty in personal mobility. If you need your dedicated helper person, you need to bring this person with you.
There are occasions where the entrance of the hotels/sites is not accessible to vehicles. Where these restrictions apply, drivers will drop and collect the clients from the nearest accessible point and clients will need to walk back and forth between the vehicle and the hotel/site.
Generally, the Tour Participants must walk at least three city blocks level distance unassisted and without stopping. Tour participants must lift their leg to a height of at least 41 cm (16 inches). This is required not only to get in and out of the van with ease, but also to get in and out of bathtub and shower combinations, which are the most common type of facility in European hotels and inns. Some archaeological sites also have toll steps.
Travel insurance
The Tour Participants must have health, accident and/or liability insurance that covers them in Europe. Each Tour Participant should check with a personal physician regarding the intention to pursue international travel. Each Tour Participant should check with an insurer to determine whether the Tour Participant has a policy which provides coverage during foreign travel. The Tour Participants should bring with them copies of insurance documents or a letter from an insurance agent certifying insurance coverage for hospitalisation in the countries included in the Itinerary if there is a need for medical services for any reason.
Payments for your tour
We have regarding tour payment a few conditions. Due to the nature of the tours we offer, we need to book accommodations for tour participants as soon as possible. This is especially actual for high season (summer) when many people already made their reservations of hotels. Because of that, we accept the booking of the tour no less than 30 days before the tour starts. This mean, the full price of the tour for all tour participants must be on our account 30 days before starting the tour.
If you were going to book a tour 2 or 3 or 6 or 12 months before, you could pay by parts, but the first part must be noss than 20% of each person's full tour price. No matter how long before you book a tour, the tour participants' full price must be on our account 30 days before starting the tour.
Follow the situation with coronavirus, if you change your travel plans after you book, we will accept the change of the tour date to any other date you like, under these conditions:
new date and the full duration of the tour are in the same season
new date must be available
For this kind of changes, we will charge nothing. This mean, in this situation, is not involved cancellation fee.
Due to the total tour prices, which are quite high for average card limits, we offer to pay by bank transfer. After you sent us a tour request and mutually agreed on tour dates, we will send you instructions to transfer money to our bank account.
