The tour begins at the Almudena Cathedral and the Royal Palace, two of Madrid’s most
emblematic landmarks. From there, we’ll continue to Puerta del Sol, the true heart of the city,
before heading into Habsburg Madrid and reaching the magnificent Plaza Mayor.
In this historic area, we’ll explore Madrid’s oldest neighborhoods, wandering through narrow
streets steeped in centuries of history. Highlights include the former City Hall, Plaza de la
Villa, and some of the city’s oldest churches.
Our walk then leads us along Carrera de San Jerónimo, where we’ll see the Congress of
Deputies, the Neptune Fountain, and the elegant Ritz and Palace hotels.
The tour concludes on the Paseo del Prado, ending our walk beside the
world-renowned Prado Museum.
