It takes many years of learning to understand the unsettling depth of emotion.
A reflective self, a critical self is also engaged in creative thinking. Good critical thinkers are good creative thinkers, reflective thinking is necessary to learning and keeping an open mind. Whilst 'brain storming' ideas generates a range of relevent facts and keeps an open mind. There are some things that simply makes us happy, some things that we plainly and for no apparent reason love. Connection with nature and another in its simplest terms makes me happy.
This Painting and Writing week inaugurates an ongoing process of what I have already discussed in past journal writings, to continue on the path of expanding one’s own limitations and boundaries. Although many of us have achieved estimable things, the days of exploring caves, beaches and sites continue to be memorable. The trip is well worth it. I promise!
