Hello!!! My name is Thuy , I am a university student and I’m going to be a third year soon. Now I am working as a tour guide for I Love Hue Tour family. Although my part-time job is not related to my major but I have learnt a lot from my leader and the people I met.

Sometimes in life, you meet someone that truly changes your present world. For me, the gift sent from heaven to help me become the better version of myself is Miss Lien. Miss Lien is the CEO of I Love Hue Tour and the informal name we often call her is “The Queen of Hue”
The 3 words that I can use to describe myself 4 months ago are unconfident, pessimistic and shy. I used to be a depressed girl who always felt like I was absolutely worthless and could not socialize with the outside world. Now if I look back upon that terrible time, I think I could die of boredom. Luckily, I am still alive because my life has changed in an incredibly different way.
I think I will always remember the day I first met Miss Lien. It was such a hot day in April and we had a short talk at Sline coffee on Le Loi street. I told her that I would like to join her project to improve my English skills and that I was willing to work without being paid but she said “ if you work for me then I must pay you” and gave me many useful pieces of advices. After the interview, I was selected to work as a tour guide and I have been doing this part-time job until now. Before we finished, she told me “ Be confident, if you are always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be” Whenever I feel depressed or get failure, I remember her words to motivate myself so that I could face the challenges and overcome all problems.
What to say about my job? It is extremely interesting. Being a tour guide raises my natural confidence from 0% to 80% :)), opens my mind and helps me speak loudly and clearly without any fears. I am no longer shy when I show my voice or make the guests laugh. I absolutely love what I do, love this city, love our team and love every guest who have come to I LOVE HUE TOUR. I have enjoyed my job so far because I can learn and improve my English every single day by asking the guests questions and answering theirs. I have also made many international friends and have learnt more about other cultures from different countries around the world. Above all, I have now become more determined about my dream and I have made an effort to make it come true. Especially, Miss Lien and I LOVE HUE TOUR have taught me how to love not only love myself but also other people around me. Every week, we have a tour to orphanages or poor families to take care of unfortunate people like disable people or orphans.
Miss Lien often says to us “ I am always beside you guys to support you, to give you more motivations to go and to make you think more about your future” She is not a boss, she is our real leader. Thanks for supporting and believing in me, I will paint a more beautiful picture for my life and the world will see just how amazing we are!
