Visa Collection for Iran can be done in four ways:

  • VOA (Visa on Arrival / Iran Airport Visa)

  • Visa in Advance

  • Visa Free

  • Entry Banned

Iran Visa

Visa on Arrival

Acquiring this visa is possible upon your arrival at Iran’s authorized airports. It’s required only to have a confirmed return ticket and at least your first night’s accommodation and show them to the officer. However, Iran visa on arrival is the safest option for travellers to Iran. This type of visa collection can be done in two different:

  • Receiving the authorized Visa Code before arriving

  • Receiving a visa at the embassy/consulate in your home country


Visa in Advance

It is not possible for some people such as journalists, martial personnel and residents of some countries to ask for a visa on arrival. The residents of the following countries are not also eligible to apply for this visa: the United States of America, Canada, Colombia, England, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Iraq, Jordan, and Somalia.


Visa Free

Residents of Azerbaijan, Bolivia, Turkey, Syria, Georgia, Armenia, Lebanon, Egypt, Malaysia, and Venezuela are eligible to travel to Iran without getting a visa. They can stay in Iran for up to 90 days.

  • Request visa (filled out Iran visa application)
    Declare needed documents

  • Issue visa code

  • Deliver visa code to officer at the airport and apply for Iran visa
