1. Why we celebrate Holi Festival?

Holi is the biggest festival in India same like Diwali. But Holi is a festival of colours. The Holi festival shows the victory of goodness on evil. There was a king in Mathura. His name was Hiranaya Kashyap. He doesn't believe in god. But his son Prahlad was a big devotee of Lord Vishnu. Hiranaya Kashyap tried to convince his son not to worship any god. But his son Prahlad denied and continued to worship Lord Vishnu. Then, he tried to kill his son but every time Lord Vishnu save Prahlad. His sister had a boon that she will never burn in fire. Once, he said his sister to sit with Prahlad in flame. She did it. But again Lord Vishnu saved Prahlad and his aunty burnt in the fire. Then, Lord Vishnu killed Hiranaya Kashyap. So, it becomes a victory of goodness over evil. That's why we celebrate Holi with full of joy and happiness.
