Over the course of four days in June, the center of Stavanger is transformed into what we think is the world's best food festival.
The festival brings together professionals in food production, food processing and food distribution. It is both a public event and a professional meeting place, with a broad program for foodies, families with children, festival goers, producers, professionals and catering establishments.
The Gladmat festival was organized for the first time in 1998 and attracts up to 250,000 visitors over the course of four days.
Large parts of the center of Stavanger are turned into a large festival area, with around 150 stands, concept areas, a brewery festival, and, not least, a whole bunch of restaurants that invite to their own events with both food, entertainment and celebrity chefs. At our exhibitors, you can buy good products to take home, you can buy a dish in hand, or sit down and eat several dishes.
