Tour Guide, Amsterdam, Netherlands

“Amsterdam is a wonderful place that combines the sacred and the profane life. Amsterdam always seems to be wrestling with itself. It is a city of contradictions. Visible when you pass the central railway station with its neo-Gothic architecture. Head towards Oude Kerk and you will find a 13th-century church with such a strong sense of the city’s beginnings. Nowadays this area is the infamous R.L. district. My favourite canal is the small and tranquil Reguliersgracht. More than once a week I spend a day at Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum”.
