Welcome to one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Nepal lies between two big countries India and China in Asia. It is a land-locked country. The main occupation of the majority of Nepalese people is agriculture. English can be spoken and understood by all educated people.
Nepal can be divided into mainly three regions, Terai, Mountain and Himalaya of which mountain region accounts for 64 percent of total land. With Kathmandu being the capital city of Nepal, it has now become the place where east meets west. There is a mixed culture of Hinduism and Buddhism all over the country. Though the major religion is Hinduism, other religions like Islam and Christianity also co-exist. Nepal is most probably the only place where you can find peace and tranquillity.
Nepalese people are so friendly and easy-going with people from all around the World. It could be the reason why many tourists repeatedly visit this small country with the tallest mountain, Mt. Everest (8848m). It's my country Nepal from where Lord Buddha spread the message of peace to all in the World. Though we have mainly four seasons one can visit Nepal around the year. It's probably in Nepal where more festivals are celebrated than in any other country. This is a country which must be visited by all at least once in his or her life.
