Give as finished the season Wintry 14/15 !!
It was a time full of good activities either professionally or personally.
Despite a first snow in mid-November, the snow only returned in force to the middle of January, when the first snowfall of three days covered in white "our" mountain :)
Even with the cold that was felt at the beginning of the year, the ice only appeared after the first snowfall and remained stable for 3-4 weeks.
The snow was present by the end of March, when it turned out to melt enough, now left only a splash in the higher and protected areas.
This time I decided to finally start me on the cross-country skiing (alpine touring or ski mountaineering) which led me to a brave investment either in material or in track time to improve my skiing technique parka.
It was also the winter I dedicated myself to ice climbing to 100% re-discovering some fantastic places or in "our" mountain or abroad.
Through 7Cumes took a Training Techniques winter mountain three formations Introduction to Rock Climbing (two in Star and in Gredos), two workshops Mountaineering, a workshop a day of ice climbing (Serra da Estrela) and a workshop end-of-week Ice Climbing (Canalizos, Sierra de Bejar), a Training Level II Mountaineering in Peña Ubiña and Expedition Toubkal (Morocco, 4167m).
In the personal sphere have to thank Joaquim Pinto and Sergio Carvalho by the company in a number of days dedicated to pure Mountaineering and hard to train and to enjoy all that "our" mountain has to offer.
Highlight the first ascent of the time the Corridor Bridge and rise of an unknown line already walked dating to two times in this Raso pitcher (with Joaquim), the variant of Merchants that quote as PD + 45 and the days of pure ice Loriga on Ice (with Sergio).
Also noteworthy are pleased to climb ice, already in median terms to 3700m in Morocco!
I started the ski season in December (snow culture in Star Lane) where Teresa began a good work which has resulted now have a filhota 4 years skiing and a 3 to snowboard. I also have to thank the tips and endless patience precious to me correct posture in my struggle to master the skis;)
This season ski took us not only many days the Vodafone Ski Resort (in Star), but also Leitariegos (Leon) and La Covatilla (Bejar).
This season is also marked by two injuries, a broken rib on the slopes and a wound at the base of the foot that gave the right to two weeks of "rest" ..
It is now the nostalgia of a finished good but curtinha time and wait patiently until next winter, waiting is only interrupted by the time of activities in the Alps already confirmed in summer: D
