Karimunjawa is a collection of 27 islands, and the Karimun islands are its main island. The islands are a tourist area that have a charming nature and diversity of tourist attractions, both on land and at sea. White sand here are the perfect place to just lay back and bask in the sun while enjoying the natural scenery and shades of blue sea water. Underwater biota also also makes it one of the best diving paradises and snorkeling spots in Indonesia.

Karimunjawa is a multiethnic society inhabited from several tribes, namely Java, Madura and Bugis and ethnic Island tribal houses of the Bugis and Javanese are open to the public.

Access to Karimunjawa islands can be reached through sea ports Kartini, Jepara and Tanjung Mas, Semarang. Access by air could only be reached by charter plane from Ahmad Yani Airport, Semarang headed to the airport on the island Kemujan pioneer.
