I am Tshering Yangzom and I am 28 years old. I have a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Gedu College of Business Studies, of the Royal University of Bhutan.
I am the CEO and Marketing Head in Bhutan Lhayi Zeydhan Tours and Travels. As a marketing head, I travel around the world, especially in Europe and China. I meet new people every day and I have never failed to give full service to all my clients
After all my experiences, I have realized that the only barrier to your success is your own self and if you have the right determination you can succeed in your life. There is nothing that women cannot do.
I am Sonam Choden, a 26-year-old woman from the country of Bhutan. I have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Gedu College of Business Studies, of the Royal University of Bhutan. I am also a qualified and certified tour guide in Bhutan.
I am the COO and head tour manager of the Bhutan Lhayi Zeydhan tour company in Bhutan. As the head tour manager, I strive to treat each tour as personal guests, be it one person or 50. As of 2019, we have hosted over 500 guests in Bhutan and created many new friendships with people from all over the world. In this new year, we hope to continue our success, and I look forward to the new people we will meet and the experiences we will encounter together.
People have a stereotypical notion that brings a guide is a male dominant job & to a certain degree, give the tough hikes & rough climbs, I agree it’s an easier job for males however I do not believe that women cannot do an equally good job. Over the last years of being a tour guide myself, I have created much new friendship from people all over the world & have made a lot of memories with them. With the start of the new year, my team & I hope to host many new guests and create more friends with people across the globe.
