The Everest Base Camp Trek in Nepal is a beautiful way to see this area. It is only forty-five minutes away from Kathmandu by aircraft, and it includes a spectacular view of Mount Everest as well as a trek to the nearby monasteries and Sherpa culture.

Many people have said that this is the best trek in the world, and there are some excellent options when it comes to places in the Himalayas. But this is one of the adventurous trek experiences in the world.

This trek begins in Lukla, after a flight from Kathmandu, and goes up to base camp. The area is full of ancient monasteries, chortens, Sherpa people and their culture as well as the warm hospitality. They are the remains of an ancient society that practised meditation and worship of the Gods.

You can visit these monasteries and experience their wonderful architecture as you journey through the mountains. You can get a great glimpse of how the Himalayas were used centuries ago. You will see how monks built monasteries which were quite elaborate.

Once you reach the base camp, you will see the South Summit, where you can see the famous picture of Mount Everest. Then you should proceed down the other side of the mountain to the valley below. If you choose this route, you will be able to see the glaciers which make up the main part of the Himalayan range.

As you proceed down the hill, you will pass through some stunning monasteries that can easily be enjoyed by anyone with any level of adventure. Many of them are very old and have a long history. They are built from wood or stone.

If you choose to hike up to the Gokyo Lake, Gokyo Ri, Kalapathar, Island Peak Base Camp, or Chhukung, you will have an even better view of the mountain than you would if you took a helicopter. As you ascend, the view gets even better because you will see the glacier on your right as it moves past you.

As the Everest Base Camp Trek goes on, you will pass through the picturesque landscape of Nepal. You will see ancient villages which have been untouched by time, as well as towns and townships which date back hundreds of years.

You can also see many beautiful places in base camp as you trek up to the South summit. This is where the climbers start climbing when they reach the South Summit.
