Cave Exploration: Caves are also beautiful places to experience adventure tourism in Rwanda and DR Congo. The commonly visited cave is Musanze Cave which is 2 km long; it lies in the volcanic region where lava flow layers dating from 65 million years ago to today have created the Albertine Rift Valley. The cave has 31 entrances, most being roof collapses. Bat roots are a feature of the cave and the collapses create a truly incredible array of coloured shafts of light.
Mountaineering: Hiking different volcanoes in Rwanda and DR Congo is an unforgettable experience and pleasure. During hiking, you enjoy the view of different volcanoes, vegetations types on the slopes of the volcanoes and the point of view of different interesting places. The important five peaks Volcanoes: Karisimbi (4507m), Bisoke (3711m), Sabyinyo (3634m), Gahinga (3474m) and Muhabura (4127m). Crater Lake is at the peak of Bisoke. Hiking Nyiragongo active volcano in DR Congo is also possible.
