Tanzania is one among the famous tour destinations in the world and also in Africa. It is one among the many countries in the world wherein one can experience nature, untouched and unspoiled . There are more than 126 different tribes that can be found here, clustered among three Ethnic groups, Bantus, Cushites and Hamites. With rich cultural histories and many archaeological sites that have been found here , the most famous of them is the Olduvai Gorge, Laetoli, Nasera, Kondoa Ruins and many more.
There are currently 16 National parks and many game reserves and forest reserves as well. The famous game reserve here is the Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the Big Five. This area is also famous for the Great Annual Migration.
There are many volcanic mountains that can be found here as well. The most famous is Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain that stands at 5895 metres above sea Level. Also Mount Meru is the second highest in Tanzania , and Mount Oldonyo lengai is the active volcano that can be found in the Great Rift Valley.
Lake Natron is a salt or Soda lake that is also found in the Rift valley. This lake is a famous breeding site for the famous pink flamingos during the Dry season.
It is best to visit Tanzania all year round as there are different attractions that can be seen during different seasons.
