Many years ago,  the tour through the littoral southwest of Madagascar  presented an ultimate problems for the accessibility.  The ground transportation  in this area is practicable seasonally only from May up to November of the year.  Travelers frustrate too much not to be able to admire and enjoy the diversity of nature along the littoral west when they visit Madagascar.

However, your visit  in Madagascar is quite perfect when you  can do the combination of the classical tour on RN 7 and the tour through the littoral southwest of Madagascar.

The RN 7 is very popular of the different parks , it offers along the National road such Anja Parks, Isalo National Park, Ranomafana Park, Zombitse vohibasia Park and the interesting cities tour in Antsirabe, Ambositra and Toliara.  In another hand, the littoral south west allows you to experience the wonderful wildlife nature and to enjoy the most wonderful beaches in this region.

Furthermore,  you will not miss to experience the trip by motor boat on Tsiribihina river from Miandrivazo city to Belo/Tsiribihina and the visit  of the Tsingy de Benaraha located in northern from Morondava as well.

From the very first day of your visit, you will discover the multiple colors of nature in Madagascar; so your tour is ultimately very colorful.

Currently, the road between Toliara and Morondava is under construction.  The construction has just  begun  and  started from Toliara.  Travelers will be able to use this itinerary 12 months a year and  will choose this area as their first destination.

A 15 days duration will be  quite enough to do the tour from Antananarivo- Morondava –Toliara,  along the littoral southwest then , go back to Antananarivo from Toliara by the RN 7 or if you don’t have enough time you can take a domestic flight from Toliara to Antananarivo.
