Inside World War Two's largest war factory where the famed B-29 engine was made starting from base metals to complete and tested engines, over 18,000.  The plant is now the Ford City Mall on Chicago's South Side. The full page feature appeared in the Chicago Sunday Tribune, Section A.  Special tours to the one-time factory include original and unchanged areas in the 6.3 million structure extending over nearly one mile.  All of the original 48 engine test cells remain in full view, as well as numerous additional structures.
