I have recieved lots of messages on what i meant by C. A. V (Co-ordinate Everything,Anticipate Everything,Verify Everything), it is not new to those in the security sector

C.A.V sounds very simple but practically speaking it needs effort and fast thinking

COORDINATE EVERYTHING!

In the tourism industry it is very important to work with others especially the locals in many ways to seeks advise, share information on many issues especially in an area that you are not familiar with and also very imoprtant to reach out to people that you are going to visit their area, the local people are the best source of information not what you read in the newspapers or see on TV.Never you guess on safety issues.

ANTICIPATE EVERYTHING!

You must anylyse and think of "what if" , things that may impend or disturbthe success of your program, there must be detailed plan for risks ,no risk must be neglected no matter how low is the rate, it may not be a risk to you as a person in the travel business but it may be a great risk to the visitor, there are no small risks.

VERIFY EVERYTHING!

You must know what to be accomplished , do not hesitate to ask others especially those living around the area on what may not be clear to you in the area that you are visiting, it is very important to double check all your program and information and your plans errors can occur double check can save lots of wasted time..Be friendly and interract with the visitors let them be invollved , it makes everybody busy and show that you care about them, do not do talking alone let them express themselves that will help you a lot in adjusting your program if and when and where necessary.

As a friend of mine use to say, you know how to make use of the 5Ws, who, what, where, when, why.

Use Common Sense, though it is not common
