From Ninh Kieu wharf to Cai Rang floating market is about 4 km, if you go waterway, you takes about 30 minutes. Early morning, Cai Rang market have operated until about 8, 9.
To witness the sunrise, the bustling trade on the river, visitors must go from 5am. As to the market, visitors will enjoy dining on the river with a swaying feeling full of fun.
The dynamic rhythm of life on the river in the market represent by the small boat breakfast food, coffee...serving for everyone. Just 10,000vnđ, you have a glasses of iced coffee, it not very tasty but you will be very interesting to enjoy it on the immense river.
At the floating market have all of fruits and vegetables: meat, fish, salt, pharmacy or candy... Visitors also enjoy the fresh fruit and very cheap price on the boat.
Sometime in the boats loaded with fruits, goods, we saw small cruise for visitors, of which there are many foreign visitors, all caught up in the active trading taking place on the river.
Today, though the transport network has developed extensive but Cai Rang floating market persist and grow increasingly more crowded. This is not just a marketplace of people at Can Tho, it is a tourists destination of domestic and foreign.
