Around 2 weeks ago we started with the COVID-19 alert; the government started with the advisement of health quarantine. But March 21, we start with the total quarantine; everything starts to be closed and the police and military help keep everything closed and no people on the streets.
Some tourist was trapped in the country because a few days after the borders with neighbouring countries were closed and all the flights were cancelled. Of course, the people and the government are trying to help tourists giving them some fewer prices and free lodge.
I suggest to people who plan to visit Bolivia please reprogram your trips because we are in total quarantine probably until May, so we are not working now everything is stopped. The tourism is highly influenced by these events and of course, the Bolivian economy is coming down.
