Siem Reap city is a very old city since the Siem (Thai) invaded it about hundreds of years ago. The city is bustling with the French-style buildings, pubs, markets, local shops and many hotels and greenhouses. Moreover, it has many museums like the War Museum and the national museum. Tonle Sap Lake is also worth a visit.
The floating village here is a major tourist attraction and you can witness thousands of people living here. The three places you can see here are Cheang Kraus village, Kampong pluck village and Krang village. You can take a boat trip to these villages and spend some time with the locals here.
