Myanmar , the Golden Land, is so called for it ancient edifices and natural resources. Foreign visitors will find in Myanmar , not only innumberable Pagodas but also discover the wonders of the wilderness. The Nation park ,446974 Acres ( 698.4 square miles ) , is also abundant with unusual wildlife , is a place worth visiting.

The park is situated 60 miles north-west of Monywa District , Sagaing division in Upper Myanmar. Crossing from Monywa to the other bank of the Chindwin River , one gets to Yinnmarbin-Perlair motor road. Kapaing village is base of the mountain and start to climb up to there. Twenty miles further on, is the Thabeiksay ( Alms-bowl washing ) monastery. From there, one mile on foot and climb mountains. The whole journey includes some 17 miles tough trekking and Elephant rides.

A visit to the Alaungdawkassapa National Park in a wonderful experience for nature lovers while trekking in the jungle , travellers can view the natural beauty of the big forests , and hear the sounds of birds and animals.
