It was a six-day trip to Tentena, Poso. I was there for a project alongside a friend from Bangkok, Thailand. She said it was her second time coming to Tentena; unfortunately, her last visit did not include a trip around the region. I started looking for places in Google Maps and asked locals for good-to-go spots. I was lucky to know a few things about Tentena before going in there. Tentena is known for Danau Poso, or Poso Lake. It was unimaginably huge, so large it seemed unlikely to be a lake. We went to a few places: a pine forest, a waterfall, a beach, a few restaurants, and cafes. I admired the views of those places, but some of them, I think, weren't worth visiting if you're looking for decent food. It was a long trip, and we spent about IDR 15 million. It included the resort, food, a driver, and a car. But the price is worth the memories. It has been a few months since my trip, but I can vividly remember the feeling. If I get the chance to visit Tentena for the next trip, I will undoubtedly take it.
