    • Blue Mosque: Sultan Ahmed Mosque, also known as the Blue Mosque, is an Ottoman-era Friday mosque in Istanbul, Turkey. A functioning mosque, it also attracts large numbers of tourist visitors. It was constructed between 1609 and 1616 during the rule of Ahmed I. Its Külliye contains Ahmed's tomb, a madrasah, and a hospice. 
    • Hippodrome: The Hippodrome was an ancient Greek horse racing and chariot racing stadium. The name is derived from the Greek words hippos and dromos. The term is used in modern French and others, meaning "horse racecourse". 
    • Hagia Sophia: Hagia Sophia, officially the Hagia Sophia Holy Grand Mosque and formerly the Church of Hagia Sophia, is a Late Antique place of worship in Istanbul, designed by the Greek geometers Isidore of Miletus and Anthemius of Tralles. 
    • Basilica Cistern: The Basilica Cistern, or Cisterna Basilica, is the largest of several hundred ancient cisterns beneath Istanbul, Turkey.
    • Topkapi Palace: The Topkapı Palace, or the Seraglio, is a large museum east of the Fatih district of Istanbul in Turkey. In the 15th and 16th centuries, it served as the primary Ottoman sultans'  residence and administrative headquarters. 
    • Grand Bazaar: The Grand Bazaar is one of the world's largest and oldest covered markets, with 61 covered streets and over 4,000 shops on a total area of 30,700 m. sq.
