Take a tour of the major attractions in the city:
Hippodrome - Built by Emperor Septimus Severus in 203, it could accommodate 100,000 spectators for chariot races.
Blue Mosque - Historic mosque, also known as Sultan Ahmed Mosque.
Topkapi Palace - 15th-century museum, once the residence of Ottoman kings.
Basilica Cistern - Located 500 feet (150 m) southwest of the Hagia Sophia, it was built in the 6th century during the reign of Byzantine Emperor Justinian.
Grand Bazaar - one of the largest and oldest markets in the world.
Besides visiting the most beautiful and iconic monuments, you will have the chance to gain an insight into Istanbul's daily life, seeing some aspects of the city which tourists normally miss.

Blue Mosque (cannot be visited on Friday before 3 pm): 9 am till sunset; closed during prayer times.
Topkapi Palace (closed on Tuesday): April – October 9 am - 7 pm; November – May 9 am - 5 pm.
Hagia Sophia Mosque (cannot be visited on Friday before 3 pm): 9 am till sunset; closed during prayer times.
Basilica Cistern: April – September 9 am – 6:30 pm; October – March 9 am – 5:30 pm.
Grand Bazaar (closed on Sunday): 8.30 am - 7 pm.
