Duration: Eight hours
Pickup time: To be agreed with the travellers. Usually, it is between 08:30 and 09:30.
Pickup location: At an agreed place (e.g. hotel, etc.) usually in Protaras. It can be at other cities or resorts (e.g. Limassol, Nicosia, Larnaca, Pissouri or Ayia Napa). From Agia Napa or Protaras, the trip would make sense if the duration is 8 or 10 hours, as, due to the significant distance, there is considerable time to be spent in the car.
Transportation: We usually use a Citroen C8 MPV car.
Initially, we do the walk(s). If we have time, we visit other attractions (natural and/or cultural). Once we complete the walk(s), we return to the pickup location stopping at attractions subject to time availability. The overall itinerary may differ depending on the pickup location. From Nicosia, we may visit, for example, Kakopetria and or Agios Nicolaos tis Stegis Unesco World Heritage painted church. From Limassol, we may visit Omodos village and/or Kelephos medieval Venetian bridge, etc. From Larnaca, we may visit Kamares Aqueduct. The trip may be customised to include a meal at a traditional village restaurant, winetasting, etc.
The combination of the two trails offers a rich experience over a considerable elevation range in Cyprus.
