Day 1 : Head to Negomboexpand_more
Our friendly driver-guide will welcome you and then you will be transferred to the fishing village of Negombo, located near the airport so you can relax after a long flight journey. Negombo is certainly not just to relax on the beach, but this coastal city has a rich history to share with you.

Day 2 : Visit Anuradhapuraexpand_more
After breakfast, depart to Anuradhapura (cultural triangle), the ancient city in the morning.
Visit the ancient Buddhist ruins and discovering enigmatic city aged more than 1500 years.
Drive 1 hr 14 minutes to a hotel in Dambulla for night stay.

Day 3 : Continue to Sigiriya & Polonnaruwaexpand_more
Visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress and Pidurangala Temple in the morning session.
After having a local Sri Lankan style lunch, visit the Sigiriya Village for an authentic village tour and if time permits, visit the ancient city of Polonnaruwa.
Back to the hotel.

After breakfast, depart to the cultural triangle at the center of the island in the morning.
Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Back to the hotel in Dambulla for night stay.

Day 5 : Come to the Spice Garden & Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relicexpand_more
Transfer to Kandy after breakfast.
On the way to Kandy, visit the Spice Garden (optional) after having lunch from a fabulous hotel in Kandy, explore the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.
End the day enjoying a culture show in Kandy.

Day 6 : Enter the Royal Botanical Gardenexpand_more
We also recommend to visit the Royal Botanical Garden for you two lovers will find perfect setting among abundance of gorgeous flowers and trees.
At night, explore the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. You will be amazed by the cold breeze coming from the Nuwara Wewa.

Day 7 : Check Out Tea Estatesexpand_more
This morning after breakfast, take a train south to the tea country, where you have fantastic views out over the tea plantations and pickers working the harvest.
In the afternoon, visit one of the wonderful tea estates with your guide, on an educational (and taste-testing) experience.

Day 8 : Hike to World's End in Horton Plainsexpand_more
An early start to the day as you drive to Horton Plain’s National Park for a trek through to the place call World’s End. This 8 km (5 miles) guided walk passes through some beautiful scenery and on a clear day, you might be able to see Adam’s Peak.
Back to the hotel in Nuwara Eliya for night stay.

Day 9 : Go to Yala National Park Via Ellaexpand_more
Transfer to Yala after breakfast.
On the way, visit Ella and after having lunch from a fabulous Mount Heaven hotel in Ella, reach the hotel in Yala in the evening. Next day you will need to prepare yourself for a safari at the most visited and popular park in the country. The Yala National Park has remarkable characteristics of the tropical forest bordering the sea.

Early morning transfer Yala National Park to do a safari and see the Sri Lankan Leopard, Asian Elephant and many other mammals and birds in their natural habitat in the wild. Strongly recommend trying camping to experience the best of Yala.

Day 11 : Leave Yala for Galleexpand_more
This morning after good breakfast, leave Yala and head south along the coastline to Galle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where tiny back streets in the Dutch Fort provide a very charming experience. This is a long drive, usually taking most of the day, but your driver-guide can suggest places for you to stop and explore.

Today you have the time free to explore Galle at your own pace. You might like to buy some products from the quirky shops, stopping in a local café for lunch.

It’s worthwhile to take a boat trip along the coast, whale watching is possible from January to April. You can choose activities like Madu River boat rides, Kosgoda Sea Turtle Conservation, water sports activities, Rumassala Temple walk, etc.
