YASSS TO ANIMALS!!! See over 50 species of arctic animals including the rare polar bears along the wonderful 2,5km walking trail at Ranua zoo. Among the 200 animals there, see top predators such as the lynx, brown bears, wolves, arctic fox, wolverines, river otters, snow owls, and much more! Check out big herbivores like the musk ox and European moose among others. Spend time finding the hiding and camouflaged little cuties such as the minks and stoats.
After enjoying the traditional Finnish buffet lunch at the restaurant, your guide will take you to a closer encounter with Lapland’s VIP animals—the reindeer and huskies. Listen and get to know their daily lives as the husky musher and reindeer herder are happy to share many interesting stories. As one of the most popular snowy winter attractions, try also the shorter sleigh rides from the reindeers & huskies.

Please Note
Operated in Rovaniemi each year from November 16 to April 12 next year (weather permitting).The minimum number of participants for each safari is 2 full paying adults’ price.
2-4 persons per husky sleigh, 2 persons per reindeer sleigh (except special circumstances).
Duration includes the transfer and clothes changing time.Pick up service is included if the distance from pick up point to Rovaniemi city center is within 8km.Thermal overalls, winter boots, winter gloves and woolen socks are provided.
Meeting time of our safari is always before the starting time of the safari if you need pick-up services.You will receive your meeting time and meeting point upon confirmation or by e-mail.Failure to participate in the safari due to missed meeting time or meeting point will not be refunded.
Please let us know in advance when you book the safari if you have special dietary requirements.(Eg: vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.)
