Itinerary

Day 1: Chachabambaexpand_more
- Transfer you from your hotel to the train station. The train ride will last for about 3 hours.
- Go to the ruins of Chachabamba.
- Pass a small and refreshing waterfall on the way to the ruins of Winay Wayna, where the impressive platforms will demonstrate the skill of Andean engineering. Have lunch.
- Continue the walk to Inti Punku (Puerta del Sol) to have the first sight of Machu Picchu as a beautiful panoramic of the town on the hill.
- Take the bus to Aguas Calientes to spend the night. Have dinner.
Overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 2: Sacred Valley - P'isaqexpand_more
- Travel to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, routing via P'isaq, the colonial town.
- Find the indigenous and traditional market, where you will be able to purchase handcrafted goods and souvenirs.
- Head towards the P'isaq Ruins that are beautifully carved into the highest mount
- Appreciate the picturesque villages Calca and Urubamba, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch with traditional stews.

Day 3: Machu Picchuexpand_more
- Begin the trek to Machu Picchu at 5: 30 am after breakfast.
- Tour the different sectors of the complex archaeological site, including the Intihuatana or sundial, used by ancient Peruvian settlers.
- Climb the mountain of Huayna Picchu (optional) at 10:00 a.m.
- Board the train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo at 6 pm, make sure to be at the station at least half an hour in advance.
- Return to Cusco from Ollantaytambo station.

Day 4: Puka Pukara - Tambomachayexpand_more
- Tour Puka Pukara is a site of military ruins in Peru situated in the Cusco Region.
- Visit Tambomachay, an archaeological site associated with the Inca Empire, located near Cusco.
