Day 1: Arrival in Paro (2,280m/7,480ft)
- Arrival at Paro Airport: Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, our representative will warmly greet you. They will assist you with immigration formalities and transfer you to your designated accommodation.
- Check-in and refresh: After arriving at your hotel in Paro, you'll have time to check in and refresh yourself after your journey. Take some time to relax and acclimatize to the altitude.
- Our trekking guide will conduct a pre-trip meeting in the afternoon or evening. During this meeting, you will receive a detailed briefing about the upcoming Jomolhari Trek. Our guide will provide information about the trekking itinerary, safety precautions, and packing essentials and answer any questions you may have.
- Introduction to Bhutanese Culture: The pre-trip meeting includes an introduction to Bhutanese culture and customs. This will help you better understand and appreciate the cultural aspects you'll encounter during your trek.
- Accommodation: You will spend the night at a comfortable hotel in Paro. Our team will arrange the accommodation and provide all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. Take this opportunity to rest and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.

Day 02: Sightseeing and Acclimatization Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (3,180m/10,433ft) - 4 to 5 hours (5km) trek
Breakfast at the Hotel: Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at your hotel in Paro, fueling up for the day's adventures.
Visit Tiger's Nest Monastery: After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to the trailhead of Tiger's Nest Monastery, one of Bhutan's most iconic landmarks. This monastery, perched precariously on the edge of a cliff, is a sacred site and pilgrimage destination for Buddhists.
Trek to Tiger's Nest: Start your trek from the trailhead, ascending through pine forests and rhododendron trees. The trail offers breathtaking views of the Paro Valley below. The hike takes approximately 2-3 hours to reach the viewpoint where you can admire the stunning architecture of Tiger's Nest clinging to the cliffside.
Exploring Tiger's Nest: Upon reaching Tiger's Nest, take some time to explore the monastery complex, visiting its temples, shrines, and meditation caves. Your knowledgeable guide will tell you about the rich history and spiritual significance of this revered site.
Lunch Break: After exploring Tiger's Nest, enjoy a packed lunch amidst the serene surroundings. Take in the panoramic views of the valley while recharging for the descent.
Descent and Return to Paro: Begin your descent back to the trailhead, taking approximately 1-2 hours to return. The downhill journey offers different perspectives of the landscape and monastery.
Pre-Trip Meeting: In the evening, return to your hotel in Paro and attend the pre-trip meeting conducted by your trekking guide. During this meeting, you'll receive a detailed briefing about the upcoming Jomolhari Trek, safety guidelines, and any last-minute preparations.
Accommodation: Stay another night at the same hotel in Paro. The hotel offers comfortable rooms and amenities for a relaxing stay after a day of sightseeing and trekking.

Day 03 : Paro to Sharna (Distance 17 kms and walking time 5-6 hours)
- On this day, you will embark on your trek from Paro to Sharna. The trail takes you through picturesque landscapes, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. As you trek, you'll gradually ascend in altitude, immersing yourself in the natural beauty of Bhutan.
- Throughout the journey, you'll encounter diverse flora and fauna, passing through lush forests, charming villages, and meandering streams. Look out for the unique wildlife that inhabits the region, including various species of birds and perhaps even some elusive mountain creatures.

Day 04: Trek from Shana to Sio Thangthangkha (3,750m/12,303ft) - 7 to 8 hours (21km) trek
- Today marks the beginning of your trekking adventure into the heart of Bhutan's pristine wilderness. As you leave the tranquil village of Shana behind, you'll embark on a challenging but rewarding journey towards Sio Thangthangkha.
- The trail winds through lush forests and alpine meadows, offering stunning views of snow-capped peaks and cascading waterfalls. As you gain altitude, be prepared for a steady ascent, gradually acclimatizing to the higher elevation.
- Throughout the day, look for native wildlife such as Himalayan blue sheep, takins, and various bird species that call this region home. You may also encounter yak herders tending to their livestock as you traverse the rugged terrain.
- As you approach Sio Thangthangkha, you'll be greeted by the sight of colourful prayer flags fluttering in the mountain breeze, signalling your arrival at this remote mountain camp. Day 05: Thangthangkha to Jangothang (4,040m/13,255ft) - 5 to 6 hours trek
- Today's journey takes you deeper into the heart of the Himalayas as you continue your trek from Thangthangkha to the picturesque village of Jangothang.
- Setting out early in the morning, you'll follow a trail that winds through pristine alpine forests and across rushing mountain streams. As you ascend higher into the rugged landscape, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of towering peaks and verdant valleys below.
- Along the way, look for native flora and fauna, including colourful rhododendron blooms and elusive Himalayan wildlife such as the majestic snow leopard or the rare Himalayan blue sheep.

- Today is a well-deserved rest day in Jangothang. It will allow your body to acclimatize to the higher altitude and prepare you for the challenges of the days ahead.
- Take this opportunity to explore the surrounding area and soak in the stunning mountain vistas. You can go for short walks around the village or hike to nearby vantage points for panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks.
