11:00 am: Have tea at the Castle (at own cost) with a Cape Town tour guide. The Castle is a bastion fort built in the 17th century.
11:15: Walk across the town viewing the historical buildings including the Town Hall, where President Nelson Mandela made his first speech as a free man in 1990.
12:00: Visit the Slave Lodge, named under the umbrella theme of, “From human wrongs to human rights”. Built in 1679, it is a South African Museum.
13:30: Have lunch (at own cost)
14:00: Explore Bo-Kaap. Formerly known as the Malay Quarter, it is a colourfully-painted suburb.
15:30: Drink tea and have some sweet treats in a local home.
16h30: Head back to the hotel.
