    • You will be picked up from Kathmandu by your local tour guide. Drive towards Thankot (Godam Chaur) where you will take a cable car to ascend towards the Chandragiri hills, where you can see spectacular views of the mountain ranges and peaks and proceed further towards Chitlang.

    • Post lunch, visit the ancient village, Chitlang. 

    Stay the night at a homestay with a bonfire. 

  • Day 2: Chitlang - Markhu expand_more

    • Post breakfast, hike up to the Markhu village and capture the beautiful scenery with your cameras.

    • Go for boating in the Indra Sarovar Lake, the largest artificial lake of Nepal, also known as the Kulekhani dam.

    Stay the night at the Markhu village.

  • Day 3: Chitlang - Chandragiri - Kathmandu expand_more

    • After breakfast, hike back to Chitlang.

    • Continue hiking up to Chandragiri and take a cable car ride back to Thankot (godam chaur).

    • Start your journey back towards Kathmandu.

  • Chandragiri Cable Caris is a gondola lift transportation system located in Kathmandu, Nepal. Opened in 2016, the Chandragiri Cable Car runs from Thankot to Chandragiri hills. The 2.4km (9,095ft) line has two stations. The cable car system consists of 38 gondolas that can carry 1,000 people per hour.

  • Chitlang is an ancient Newari settlement in Makwanpur district which is a part of the Narayani zone. Inscriptions dating back to the Lichchhavi era have been found in this place. It lies in the high level of the northern part of Makwanpur district and the southern main path of the 8289ft Chandragiri hill.

  • Indra Sarovar is lies at the deep gorge between Markhu and Kulekhani Village development committee. It was built by the Kulekhani Hydro Project and it is a 7km long lake.
