Come abroad this exclusive Myanmar tour for a great chance to observe the major city highlights and historic attractions here. This includes touring around the beautiful hill station in Pindaya, doing unforgettable treks and enjoying sunset views atop Mandalay Hill.


DAY 01

Arrive at Yangon – Mandalay

  • Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport welcome by our local guide.

  • Sightseeingstarts with Yangon Colonial Style city center . Enjoy taking photographsfor a panoramic view ofthe city.

    Proceed to see the Mahabandoola Park with Independent Monument and have a memorable scene ofthe colonial building.

    Then enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we will proceed to see the biggest Chaukhtetgyi reclining Buddha statue of 72 meters long.

    In the evening, we will go to the Kandawgyi Lake for photo sessions.

    Then, enjoy sunset views at the Shwedagon Pagoda. This pagoda is over 2600-years-old and is a gigantic golden stupa in Yangon. It is the holiest place of the Buddhist people and also a landmark of the country.

    After takinga shower at the hotel, get transferred to the Yangon High way Busstation to take an overnight bus to Mandalay. (air-conditioned Bus)

DAY 02

River Cruise to Mingun – Mandalay

  • Early morning, arrive at Mandalay Bus station wherein your driver will meet and welcome you and transfer to the hotel. ( Early check-in is subject to availability).

  • After breakfast, go for a boat excursion (one hour each way) up the Ayeyarwaddy river to Mingun, the site of the world’s largest intact bronze bell that is about 3.7 meters high and weighs 87 tons.

  • Also visit the huge but unfinished Mingun Paya (built with the intention of being the world’s biggest pagoda) and the beautiful Hsinbyume Paya, Settawya Pagoda, Myatheindan Pagoda with seven concentric terraces at the base.

  • Then transfer back to Mandalay. After lunch, sightseeing includes the Mahamuni Buddha Image with its spectacular Buddha image covered with thick layer of gold leaves, Shwe Nan Daw Kyaung ( Golden Palace Monastery), a superb example of a traditional wooden building, and the Kuthodaw Pagoda (known as the world’s largest book) that consists of 729 marble slabs engraved with Buddhist scriptures.

  • Enjoy sunset views atop the Mandalay Hill, advantage point for a panoramic view of the city.

DAY 03

Amarapura – Sagaing – Inwa (Ava)

  • Breakfast at the [sensitive content]day, we will visit the ancient city of Amurapura to see the Mahagandaryone Monastery.This is a famous Buddhist monastery where more than a thousand monks live and study Buddhist literature.Witness the Mahamuni Image – a bronze Buddha image castled during the lifetime of Buddha himself, and see tapestry works, Wood carving & bronze castling workshops, Marble carving workshop and silk weaving home cottage.

  • After lunch, proceed for a  sightseeing to the former royal capital of Inwa (Ava) that can be reached by a short boat trip.See the Nanmyint Watch Tower, the remains of a palace building nicknamed “leaning tower of Ava”, Mahaaungmye Bonzan Monastery (built of bricks and stucco) and the Bargayar Monastery, famous for its impressive ornate woodcarvings and teak posts.

  • Then, drive to Sagaing Hill over AVA Bridge across the Ayeyarwaddy River.Sagaing Hill is dotted with pagodas and there are over 500 monasteries and meditation centers, a retreat for 6000 monks and nuns.

  • Visit Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda and U Min Thonse Pagoda.

  • On the way back to Mandalay, enjoy the beautiful sunset at the 1.2 km-long U Bein Wooden Bridge that was built in 1782 at the time when Amarapura was the royal capital.

DAY 04

Mandalay – Bagan

  • Breakfast at Hotel and travel from Mandalay to Bagan by bus.

  • In the afternoon ,arrive at Bagan and then transfer to the hotel. Excursion by car start with Shwezigone Pagoda- built in 1087 by King Anawratha who was the founder of the first Myanmar Empire. Nat ( Spirits ) images can be found within its precincts.

  • Then observe the most venerated Ananda temple, built in 1090. It is the masterpiece of the early style temple architecture of Bagan error

  • . Next must stop see is the 66 meters high Thatbyitnnyu temple built in the middle of the 12th century as the highest pagoda on Bagan Plain. Observe the 12th-century mural painting inside the Gubyaukgyi temple, built in 1113 by princess Rajakumar and the unfinished Dhamagyi temple – Bagan’s most massive temple built in 1167 AD.

  • Finally, enjoy breathtaking sunset views from the most popular sunset-viewing spots in Bagan.

DAY 05

Bagan Full Day Sightseeing

  • Today, you can choose to travel by a Horse cart or an electric bike. Highlight for the day: Lawkhananda Pagoda;  Ayeyarwaddy river view from a cliff top; Bu Paya-pagoda with bulbous dome resembling the ‘ Bu’ or gourd; Dhama Yazaka Zedi – located in Pwasaw village' Nagayon pagoda – a very elegant form with a standing stucco image of Buddha under the hood of a huge naga ( serpent ); Kyansit-tha Umin- where you can see murals painting from the 13th century; Ananda Okkyaung-a brick monastery with 18th century mural paintings; Nathlaung Kyaung – the only remaining Hindu temple in Bagan; Than day Kyar – Buddha Image built with solid sandstones in 13th century; Sulamani Temple – a red brick temple features delicate masonry work; Lawka Teikpan pagoda; Htilominlo Temple – known for its elaborate plaster moldings dated 1211 AD; Nan Paya – one of the two sandstone temples in Bagan.

  • Finally, enjoy breathtaking sunset views from near the Pyat Thet Gyi temple.

DAY 06

Bagan – Kalaw ( By Bus )

  • In the morning, after breakfast transfer to the bus station to go to Kalaw. On the way, enjoy plenty of  nice mountain views. Arrive at Kalaw in the evening for  overnight stay in the hotel

DAY 07

Kalaw – Shabin (trekking)

  • Early morning, start your 3 days trekking trip. The road and trail go through beautiful scenery. On the way visit the villages of Palaung, Danu, Pao and Taung Yoe. Your local station tour guide Ko Paul will introduce you to the villagers and will show you the traditional ways of life.

  • Lunch in Hinkhagone a Palaung village. The path goes up and down. See the local plantations of  tea leaves, coffee, cordial leaves, mustard, ginger, Malt Rice, Cabbage, Cauliflower and Sesame.

  • In the late afternoon, you will arrive at Shabin - a typical Danu village with 12th Century old wooden monastery.

  • Dinner and overnight stay in the village.

DAY 08

Shabin – Teetain (trekking)

  • After your breakfast at the monastery , continue your trekking trip. It is about 7 hours trekking. The people in this area grow fruits; Arvogado, Banana, Oranges, Jackfruits and Papaya. You will have the chance to see the crab apple trees along the way together with some shady Banyan trees.

  • Have lunch at a Pawke a Pao village.

  • After lunch, you will  walk for another 3½ hours to Teetain, a typical Pao village. Native along this way are various plantations, especially that of Ginger.

  • Dinner and overnight stay in the village.

DAY 09

Teetain – Thandaung (Trekking) – Nyaung Shwe

  • After breakfast, continues a 5 hours trekking trip to the shore of the Inle lake. The trail goes through the beautiful scenery of Bamboo forest. The natives of Pao, Taung Yoe, and Intha  grow various  fruits such as Banana, Papaya, Potato, and Beans.

  • Lunch will be at the lower Thandaung village.

  • In the afternoon, get transferred by a boat to your hotel.

DAY 10

Inle Lake sightseeing

  • In the morning after breakfast, begin a morning drive to Nyaung Shwe Jetty and enjoy sightseeing by a private boat. Sightseeing includes a chance to see the leg-rowing fishermen. Continue to see the floating gardens, built up from strips of water hyacinth and mud and anchored to the bottom with bamboo poles. Explore in and around the lake by small boat. Learn the life of fishermen, and floating gardens on which fruits, flowers, and vegetables are grown.

  • Visit Nampan market or Ywama floating market or another one (depend on five days’ movement) to watch the colorful minorities of Shan State. Phaungdawoo Pagoda is right in the center of the lake and famous for it’s five shapeless Buddha Images heavily gilded with gold.

  • Then continue to see the floating village to learn the daily life of Intha people. Visit Silversmith, handloom weaving shops in Einpawkone village. See the Ngahpechaung monastery, famous for its’ well trained jumping cats.

DAY 11

Inle Lake – Pindaya – Yangon

  • In the morning,  drive to Pindaya and visit the Pindaya cave in which thousand of Buddha Images are adorned at every corner of the niche. Again stop at Ngetpyawtaw village to learn about local bamboo umbrella making.

  • Proceed to see the Yechansin village and study the art of Bamboo hat making.

  • Back to Nyaung Shwe and visit the beautiful Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery, an interesting red painted teak wood 19th-century building with oval windows.

  • In the afternoon, drive to Heho. Arrive at Heho airport and then fly back to Yangon.

  • Upon arrival at Yangon in the evening, get transferred to a hotel here.

DAY 12

Yangon Shopping & Departure

  • Today is the last day in Myanmar. After breakfast, you should go shopping for your beloved ones or for yourself at Bogyoke (Scott’s) market where you can find Myanmar famous gems and jewelry sales centers, traditional products such as antiques, wood and jade carvings, cotton and silk fabrics, lacquerware, paintings, silverware, tapestries, slippers, Longyis, souvenir and so on.

  • After lunch at leisure, get transferred to the airport in the evening  for your departure flight.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • The cancellation charges below refer to the non-transferable fee that is charged to the group member who has canceled their tour:

  • More than 45 days before departure: No cancellation charge

  • Between 45 and 30 days before departure: 10% of total tour cost

  • Between 30 days and 15 days before departure: 25% of total tour cost

  • Between 15 days and 7 days before departure: 50% of total tour cost

  • Less than 7 days before departure: 90% of total tour cost

  • The no-show at the airport on the day of arrival/departure: 100% of total tour cost
