DAY 01

Arrival at Yangon

  • Yangon is the main gateway to Myanmar. Your Myanmar guide will meet you and transfer you to the hotel upon arrival.

  • The Yangon half-day tour will include shopping at Bogyoke Aung San Market, the city’s busiest market.

  • You can pay homage to the Shwedagon Pagoda at sunset, which is one of the greatest wonders of the world.

DAY 02

Bagan sightseeing

  • Transfer to the airport in the morning. Catch a flight to Bagan.

  • Arrive at Nyaung Oo and then start sightseeing. This will include:

    • Nyaung Oo Market.

    • Shwezigon Pagoda, the prototype for the later Myanmar stupa.

    • Wetkyi-In Gubyaukgyi Temple, with a fine mural painting of Jataka scenes.

    • Htilominlo Temple, well-known for its plaster carvings.

    • Ananda Temple, famous for its unique architecture.

    • Dhamayangyi Temple, Bagan’s massive temple with the finest brickwork.

    • Archaeological Museum.

    • Manuha Temple.

    • Nanpaya.

    • Lacquerware Industry.

    • Sunset at Bupaya Pagoda, a Pyu style pagoda on the bank of the majestic Ayeyarwaddy river.

DAY 03

Mandalay sightseeing

  • After breakfast at the hotel, take the Bagan-Mandalay flight.

  • Arrive at Mandalay, the last capital of Myanmar Kings and transfer to the hotel in Mandalay.

  • On the way, visit U Bein teakwood bridge and a Traditional silk-weaving centre in Amarapura.

  • Afternoon sightseeing in Mandalay will include:

    • Mahamuni Buddha Image, the most revered Pagoda in Mandalay.

    • Kuthodaw Pagoda.

    • Shwenandaw Monastery.

    • Myanansankyaw Golden Palace.

    • Sunset at Mandalay Hill, 230 meters in elevation- a magnificent view of the city and surrounding countryside.

  • Overnight stay at the hotel in Mandalay.

DAY 04

Mandalay – Pindaya – NyaungShwe

  • After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to catch the Mandalay – Heho flight.

  • Upon reaching the destination, proceed to Pindaya Cave in which thousands of Buddha Images adorn every corner of the niche.

  • Stop by the Ngetpyawtaw village to learn about local bamboo umbrella making.

  • Head to Yechansin village to study about Bamboo hat making.

  • Visit the beautiful Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery, which is a very interesting red painted teak wood 19th-century building with oval windows.

  • Transfer to Nyaung Shwe hotel for the night.

DAY 05

Inle Lake sightseeing

  • In the morning, have breakfast at the hotel.

  • Go for a morning walk to Nyaung Shwe Jetty, where sightseeing will be by a private boat. Sightseeing includes a chance to see the leg-rowing fishermen.

  • Continue to see the floating gardens built up from strips of water hyacinth and mud and anchored to the bottom with bamboo poles. While here, explore in and around the lake by a small boat. Learn the life of fishermen, and floating gardens on which fruits, flowers, and vegetables are grown.

  • Visit the Nampan market or Ywama floating market or some other market to watch the colourful minorities of Shan State.

  • Phaungdawoo Pagoda is right in the center of the lake and famous for it’s five shapeless Buddha Images heavily gilded with gold.

  • Continue to see the floating village to learn the daily life of Intha people.

  • Visit Silversmith, handloom weaving shops in Einpawkone village. 

  • Also, visit the Ngahpechaung Monastery which is known for its well trained jumping cats.

DAY 06

Yangon sightseeing

  • Breakfast at the hotel and then transfer to the airport for the Heho-Yangon flight.

  • Arrival at Yangon and transfer to hotel.

  • Afternoon sightseeing will include:

    • Kaba Aye Pagoda (World Peace Pagoda).

    • Chauk Htat Gyi Reclining Buddha, 72 meters long.

    • National Museum for display of exhibits including Royal Regalia & Lion Throne of the last monarch in 19th Century.

    • Shopping at China Town fruit market.

DAY 07

Yangon Departure

  • After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • The cancellation charges below refer to the non-transferable fee that is charged to the group member that has cancelled their tour:

    • More than 45 days before departure: No cancellation charge

    • Between 45 and 30 days before departure: 10% of total tour cost

    • Between 30 days and 15 days before departure: 25% of total tour cost

    • Between 15 days and 7 days before departure: 50% of total tour cost

    • Less than 7 days before departure: 90% of total tour cost

    • The no-show at the airport on the day of arrival/departure: 100% of total tour cost

  • Tour Price will be changed on the group size.

  • If the hotel quoted is not available and needs to be changed, the tour price will be changed.

  • Booking confirmation subject to room availability.

  • Tour fare quoted subject to change without prior notice before the tour is confirmed.

  • 50% of the advance deposit shall be paid for booking confirmation.

  • The balance should be paid 10 days prior to arrival date.
