Take a quick tour of Myanmar's must-see attractions in Yangon, Bagan and Inle Lake. Explore Yangon's nightlife, cultural centres, parks and colonial buildings. Go boating in the Inle lake and visit an Indian Village, monastries and handicraft factories. In Bagan, discover ruins of ancient temples and well-preserved murals.

DAY 01

Yangon - Arrival

  • Upon arrival at Yangon International airport, you will be welcomed by the guide and transferred to your hotel.

  • Your journey begins with a tour of the colonial-style city center of Yangon.

  • First, visit Sule Paya stupa which was built over 2,000 years ago.

  • Then, go to the beautiful Maha Bandula Park with the Independence Monument.

  • Next, we will take a walk by some of the colonial buildings, and visit the historic post office and the heritage Strand Hotel.

  • Continue with a short drive to the bustling Bogyoke (Scotts) Market. It is one of the famous markets where hundreds of gemstone, handicrafts, art, clothes, and food stores are tucked in. The market is closed on Mondays and public holidays.

  • We will complete the day with a visit to the 2,500 years old Shwedagon Pagoda, sheathed in 11 tons of pure gold and 4,350 diamonds weighing 1800 carats. At sunset, the Shwedagon offers the visitors a spectacular show of lights and shadows.

  • Have dinner at a local restaurant.

  • Overnight stay in Yangon.

DAY 02

Yangon - Bagan By Flight

  • After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for a morning flight to Bagan. Bagan is a spectacular plain stretching away from the Ayeyarwaddy River, dotted with thousands of 800-year old temple ruins. Although human habitation at Bagan dates back almost to the beginning of the Christian era, it entered its golden period only with the conquest of Thaton in 1057 AD.

  • After checking-in at the hotel, we will start our journey to the ancient kingdom of Bagan.

  • Visit to Shwezigon Paya - a prototype of the Burmese style stupas and the Gubyaukhyi Temple at Wetkyi-Inn, which was built in the early 13th Century and repaired in 1468. The great colorful painting about the previous lives of the Buddha and the distinguished architecture, make this temple an interesting site for a visit.

  • Next, visit the refined Htilominlo temple, which is well known for its old mural, fine plaster carving, and glazed sandstone decoration. 

  • Visit the Ananda temple, a masterpiece of Mon architecture with four standing Buddhas and an adjacent brick monastery, from the early Bagan era, with well-preserved murals.

  • Proceed to the towering Thatbyinnyu Temple which is the tallest in the complex, measuring 61m. It is the largest among Bagan’s temples. Enjoy viewing the sunset from one of the magnificent temple terraces.

  • Lunch and dinner at a local restaurant.

  • Overnight stay in Bagan.

DAY 03

Bagan - Heho - Inle Lake, By Flight

  • Have breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Heho, a quiet transit town with one of the few airport links to the beautiful hills of Shan State.

  • After arriving in Heho, drive to the Inle Lake.

  • Enroute to Inle Lake, we will stop at a local family workshop where you will see how Shan umbrellas and paper are made by traditional methods using the fibers of the mulberry tree.

  • Contine the drive to Inle Lake, descending through the valley, with views of the Shan mountains and rice paddy fields.

  • Arrive at Nyaung Shwe and transfer to Inle Lake by private boat. Check-in to your hotel in Inle.

  • Later, visit the well-known Nga Pe Chaung monastery and Silver Smith factory, travelling by boat.

  • Proceed to Cheroot making factory and visit a boat making carpentry workshop and silk weaving factory.

  • We complete a day with a visit to the famous Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda.

  • Lunch and dinner at a local restaurant.

  • Overnight stay in Inle Lake.

DAY 04

Inle Lake Sightseeing

  • After breakfast, get on board the boat and follow the currents of a small river to reach the Indian village located on the western side of the lake.

  • You will pass Nyaung Ohak Monastery and follow a stair path lined with hundreds of wooden columns.

  • You will finally reach the impressive Shwe Indein Pa-O complex. From the hillside, enjoy a great view over the lake area.

  • On the way back to the boat, walk through a romantic bamboo forest on the riverside, where you may observe local people taking baths.

  • On the way, visit Myaynigone village and Lotus fiber weaving factory.

  • Lunch and dinner at a local restaurant.

  • Overnight stay in Inle Lake.

DAY 05

Inle Lake - Heho - Yangon, By Flight

  • Have breakfast at the hotel.

  • Fly back to Yangon and transfer to the hotel for check-in.

  • In the afternoon, visit Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda which houses a 70m long Reclining Buddha image.

  • We will continue to the green Kandawgyi Park and its highlighted Karaweik barge- a replica of the royal barge.

  • Next, we will drive to the city center and visit China Town, where the Chinese community built their residences, clan associations, temples, offices, and shops.

  • Enjoy the nightlife with BBQ in China Town.

  • Lunch and dinner at a local restaurant.

  • Overnight stay in Yangon. 

DAY 06

Yangon - Departure

  • Have breakfast at the hotel.

  • You will be transferred to Yangon International Airport for your departure.

  • 1260 USD Per Adult (* 01 May 2018 to 30 September 2018)
  • 1290 USD Per Adult (* 01 October 2018 to 31 March 2019)
  • 5 night shared accommodation in twin/double room with daily breakfast 

  • Other meals included are lunch and dinner as per itinerary
