DAY 01

Arrive at Yangon

  • Arrive at Yangon International Airport.

  • Get transferred to the hotel.

  • Visit the Yangon city centre where Sule Pagoda is located.

  • Explore the Bogyoke Aung San Market, which was built during the British colonial times and has a colonial shape.

  • Continue to 'Chaukhtathgyi Pagoda', which is the fourth largest colossal reclining image in Myanmar and 67 m long.

  • Visit the most magnificent and spectacular religious edifice Shwedagon Pagoda before the sunset and enjoy the beauty of the stupa while it changes the shining according to the radiant rays of the sun.

  • Stay overnight in Yangon.

DAY 02

Yangon – Bagan (B)

  • Transfer to the airport for domestic flight to Bagan. 

  • Visit Shwezigon Pagoda built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century.

  • See Kubyanuk Gyi, which is a temple with exquisite murals of Jataka scenes.

  • Go to the Ananda Temple with four huge standing Buddha images and numerous seated figures in niches around the galleried interior.

  • Continue sightseeing to Manuha Temple, which was built in Mon Style in 1095.

  • Visit the Nanbaya Temple, which is a unique sandstone monument said to have been the palace of King Manuha.

  • See the Myingaba Gu Byaukgyi Temple, which is noted for its ancient mural paintings under the protection of UNESCO. 

  • Proceed to Bupaya Pagoda to watch the sunset over the Ayeyarwaddy River. 

  • Stay overnight in Bagan.

DAY 03

Bagan - Mandalay (B)

  • Take a domestic flight to Mandalay.

  • On arrival at Mandalay Airport, drive to Amarapura.

  • Visit a bridge called U Bein.

  • Proceed to Mahagandayone, which is a monastery with high reputation consisting of more than a thousand monks who can be seen at the same time.

  • Visit the Silk workshop and Tapestry workshop. 

  • Go to the Mahamuni Pagoda with its spectacular Buddha image. 

  • See the Shwe Nan Daw Kyaung wooden monastery in teak wood in traditional Myanmar style. 

  • Visit the Kuthodaw Pagoda, which is known as the world’s biggest book consisting of 729 marble slabs engraved with Buddhist scriptures. Enjoy the sun setting at Mandalay Hill. 

  • Stay overnight in Mandalay.

DAY 04

Mandalay - Heho - Pindaya – Inle Lake (B)

  • Transfer to the airport for domestic flight to Heho. 

  • Arrive at Heho airport and drive to Pindaya. 

  • Visit the Pindaya Cave, which is ensconced in a limestone ridge overlooking the lake. Inside the cavern, there are more than 8000 Buddha images - made from alabaster, teak, marble, brick, lacquer and cement - and are arranged in such a way as to form a labyrinth throughout the various cave chambers. 

  • Proceed to see the Shwe U Min Paya, which is a cluster of low stupas just below the ridge near the Pindaya Caves. 

  • Transfer to Inle Lake. (2.5-hour drive)

  • Stay overnight at Inle Lake.

DAY 05

Inle Lake – Indein Pagoda (B)

  • Begin the excursion by boat on Inlay Lake to see the Intha-fishermen rowing with their legs, Pagoda on artificial islands in the lake, floating gardens and floating market.

  • Continue to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, which is one of the main principle shrines in Myanmar and dates back to the 18th century.

  • Visit the Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery, which is famous for its jumping cats trained by monks and the weaving village of Inpawkhon. 

  • Proceed toIndeinn at the western end of the Lake where you can watch the farmers cultivate their products. 

  • Visit the16th century pagoda complex ofIndeinn. 

  • Watch the fishermen fishing in the shallow lake.

  • Stay overnight on the Inlay Lake.

DAY 06

Inle lake – Heho - Thandwe ( Ngapali Beach ) (B)

  • Transfer to Heho airport and fly to Thandwe. (Ngapali Beach)

  • Transfer to hotel.

  •  Stay overnight at the Ngapali Beach.

DAY 07

Ngapali Beach (B)

  • Have breakfast and the whole day at leisure.

  • Stay overnight in Ngapali Beach.

DAY 08

Ngapali Beach – Yangon – Departure (B)

  • Take a domestic flight to Yangon in the afternoon. 

  • Reach Yangon and get transferred to Yangon International Airport for departure.
