Meet the tour representative at Yangon international airport.
Drive to the hotel.
Leave for Shwedagon Pagoda by private minibus and stay until after sunset.
Catch the picturesque sights in your camera before you leave.
Return to the hotel.
Take the circular train around Yangon which is a fantastic opportunity to click photographs of local people. Sellers along the tracks, passengers and local life make for a great setting.
Go to downtown Yangon, see the beautiful colonial architecture.
Walk along the busy streets with their bustling cafés and markets. Click whatever suits your lens.
For sunset, go to the banks of the Ayeyarwady where you can take some super photos of local people crossing over in dozens of boats to the other side of the river.
Return to the hotel and share the day's work with the group for critique.
Take a flight to Mandalay. Arrive and be driven to your hotel.
Drop off your bags and leave for a day filled with photography adventure. Visit Zegyo market, craftsman district and stone carvers as well as a couple of famous pagodas such as Mahmud and Kuthodaw pagodas.
Next site will be a weaving factory.
Walk through the Mahagandayon monastery- a complex of hundreds of monks before taking a boat and photographing at the Ubein bridge during sunset.
Come back to the hotel.
Have dinner together and discuss the day.
Enjoy sunrise at Ubein Bridge. Spot some monks crossing the bridge in the pink light of dawn.
Go to a local tea shop for breakfast, before leaving for Ava, where you will visit the magnificent site by horse and cart.
Another definite stop is the Bagaya Kyaung- a superb wooden monastery where young monks take their lessons.
Visit the Setkyar Thida Nunnery and the Monastic Education School in Sagaing. They both offer great photo opportunities. Capture the sunset photos at Sagaing hill before returning to the hotel.
Drive From Mandalay to Bagan
A comfortable air-conditioned car will pick you up after an early breakfast.
On arrival in Bagan, check in at the hotel.
Follow the local guide to the main pagodas and capture impressive views over the plains dotted with temples.
After lunch in a local restaurant, visit some pagodas such as Shwedagon, Ananda, Damayanti, and Sulemani.
Before sunset, climb Pyathada Paya from the back of the hotel for a relaxing evening and early night.
Wake up early for sunrise. It is an experience not to be missed by any photographer.
Back to the hotel for breakfast and then a leisurely full day in Bagan. Use e-bikes or air-conditioned car for all day for sightseeing/photography .
Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the main pagodas.
Visit a couple of local workshops including where the delicate lacquer ware is made.
Witness sunset at another pagoda.
In the morning fly to Heho and drive by an air-conditioned car to Kalaw.
Arrive in Kalaw. Have a photo class and look at the work so far after sightseeing.
After breakfast, depart from the hotel to the trekking point by car. The trek will take approximately 6 hours long.
During the day see local tribe people working in the fields, tending bean tobacco, garlic, rice, etc. Arrive in a village and stop for lunch in a local home.
After lunch, trek to another village and monastery before returning home via another route.
Early in the morning, there is a great photography chance at the Kalaw market.
After breakfast head to Inle Lake by train. This ride will be a photography highlight, as it crosses the Southern Shan Hills stopping at tiny little stations and picking up different ethnic tribes.
Depending on our time of arrival, stop at Shwe Yaunghwe Kyaung oval monastery which is full of young novice monks and a photo opportunity that never disappoints.
From there check in to the hotel before boarding a boat for your first trip on the lake.
See the famous floating gardens and sunset shots on the lake.
NYAUNG SHWE - INLE LAKE
Get up very early for a sunrise shot of the fishermen, as the lights are different from the morning to the evening.
Have breakfast at one of the local restaurants.
Visit a market before visiting all the attractions on the lake. Capture the fishermen, the floating gardens, monastery, and many local workshops, cheroots, umbrella, boat, silk and silver workshops.
Have lunch overlooking a canal, which also offers some interesting shots.
NYAUNG SHWE, INLE LAKE, INDEIN
Visit Indein by boat. It is full of ruined pagodas covered by vegetation, click endless pictures in this pagoda forest.
Trek up and along the nearby mountain top. See the panoramic view of the lake and Indein Pagoda complex.
Trek for a couple of hours through rural farmlands to Pa tribal village, passing rural farmland producing various crops.
Visit some traditional local handicrafts manufacturers before returning to the boat and heading back to Nyaung Shwe.
Overnight stay at Nyaung Shwe.
HEHO — YANGON
Drive to Heho for a flight to Yangon.
Have a get together at the hotel for a final critique and appraisal before having lunch together.
End of tour.
