Explore Myanmar, a nation with great diversity in landscape, sights, sounds, ethnic races, boasting of a colorful diaspora. Get ensnared in its charm as you discover it's pagodas, winding streets and rusticity. Yangon (formerly known as Rangoon) is the largest city in Myanmar (formerly Burma). A mix of British colonial architecture, modern high-rises and gilded Buddhist pagodas define its skyline. Its famed Shwedagon Paya, a huge, shimmering pagoda complex, draws thousands of pilgrims annually. The city's other notable religious sites include the Botataung and Sule pagodas, both housing Buddhist relics. 

  • Day 1: Yangon City Tour expand_more
    • Get a warm welcome at the airport by your Myanmar tour guide and transferred to the hotel.

    • Walk around Yangon, former capital of Myanmar  to see the old colonial buildings and the real life of locals.

    • Start at Sule Pagoda, hub of city. While there, visit  City Hall, Former Immigration Department, Immanuel Baptist Church, High Court, Mahabandoola Garden with the independence Monument.

    • Keep walking toward Yangon River. Visit Former Yangon Region Office complex, the red bricked Customs House, Yangon Region Court, Port Authority, Strand Hotel and Post Office, that are on the way.

    • Visit China Town , India Quarter and Bogyoke Aung San Market.

    • Head to Chauk Htat Gyi ,Reclining Buddha Image and Kandawgyi Lake, where Karaweik Palace is located .

    • End this exciting start with a visit to the Majestic Shwedagon Pagoda, the landmark of Myanmar.

      Spend the night at Yangon.

  • Day 2: Yangon - Bago - Golden Rock by car expand_more
    • Drive to the Golden Rock via Bago. Stop at the Htauk Kyant War Cemetery of the commonwealth soldiers on the way.

    • Indulge in the following activities, while at Bago: 

      • Study the monastic life at the Kyaikkhawaing Monastery.

      • Shwemawdaw Pagoda, the highest one in Myanmar.

      • Kanbawzathadi Palace.

      • Lunch stop at Bago city.

      • Continue to Golden Rock to enjoy sunset view.

     Spend the night at Golden Rock.

  • Day 3: Godlen Rock - Yangon by car expand_more
    • Take the local truck from the top to the base camp of Mt. Kyaikhtiyo, after breakfast.

    • Drive back to Yangon. 

    • Stop at the Rubber Tree Plantation.

      Spend the night at Yangon.

  • Day 4: Yangon to Bagan by flight expand_more
    • Take a flight to Bagan, in the morning.

    • Indulge in the following activities, while at Bagan: 

      • Explore around busy and colorful Nyaung U Market.

      • Visit the Pagoda Shwezigon and Ananda Temple, built in 1091 is considered the masterpiece of Bagan's surviving Mon architecture.

      • Head to Damanrangyi and Thatbyinnyu Temple, which are superlative among 3000 stupas and temples.

      • Visit Htilominlo Temple, that has the best plaster work on the wall.

      • Visit the Ma-Nu-Har Pagoda and Gubyaukgyi Temple, with mural paintings.

    • Pay a visit to a small Myinkaba village, to see the thriving lacquer ware industry.

     Spend the night at Bagan.

  • Day 5: Bagan to Mt. Popa by car expand_more
    • Grab the breakfast,  and drive to Mt. Popa.

    • Stop at the farmer's house to study their life and works in the field. They usually serve the guest with green tea. You can taste Local Sky Beer, Peanut, Palm Candy, Coconut Candy, and other local snack.

    • Continue to Mt. Popa, which is the home of the spiritual being.

    • Climb up to the top of Mt. Popa, along the covered stairway with 777 steps.

  • Day 6: Bagan to Mandalay by Bus expand_more
    • Head to the Bus Station, to take a bus to Mandalay in the morning.

    • Visit the Mandalay palace, which was built in 1857 by King Mindon. (the second last king of Yadanabon Kingdom).

    • Visit the Golden palace monastery, covered by gold leave and wood carving. 

    • Head to Kuthodaw pagoda, (the world biggest book) acknowledged by UNESCO.

    • Drive up Mandalay hill (975 feet above sea level) by car and enjoy the sunset, fresh air.

      Spend the night at Mandalay.

  • Day 7: Mandalay's three ancient cities Tour expand_more
    • Visit the U Pein bridge (the world longest teak bridge) with 1086 teak pillars, that are 1. 2km long and over 160 years old.

    • Head to Mahagandayon monastery, where over 1500 monks are residing and have a look at the life in monastery.

    • Head to the bank of Myittha river and take the ferry boat to Ava.

    • Hop on a horse cart and enjoy the local life. In Ava, visit, the Bargayar monastery with 176 teak pillars and the Leaning or Nanmyin tower.

    • Continue to the May Nu Brick monastery, built in 1822 AD.

    • Ferry back to car stop and drive up the Sagaing Hill, located on the other bank of River Ayeyarwady.

    • See the Soon Oo Ponya Shin Pagoda and Uminthonese Buddha Images.

    • Enjoy the best view of lively Ayeyarwady and Sagaing City.

      Spend the night at Mandalay.

  • Day 8: Mandalay - Mingun - Inle Lake expand_more
    • In the morning, take a ferry to Mingun.

    • Explore world biggest unfinished Mingun Pahto.

    • Walk around Mingun Villages and beat the world biggest ringing Bell. (90 tons) 

    • Head to another photogenic Stupa, Myatheindan.

    • Take a boat back to Mandalay and drive to the airport, to catch the flight to Inle lake in the afternoon.

      Spend the night at Inle Lake.

  • Day 9: Inle lake Tour expand_more
    • Pick up at the hotel to do the Inle lake sightseeing by boat.

    • Look around the:

      • Five day floating Market.

      • Floating Villages.

      • Floating Gardens.

      • Family workshops such as Silk and Lotus Weaving, Silver Making, Cheroot and cigar Making.

    • Continue to Shwe Inn Dein, the ruined pagoda and it's complex.

      Spend the night at Inle Lake.

  • Day 10: Inle Lake - Phekone - Loikaw by boat and car expand_more
    • Take a boat to Phekone via Saga Village, through the floating villages and along the Mountain Ranges.

    • Arrive at Phekone and Continue to Loikaw by car. 

    • Stop at Aung Tha Pyay Natural Cave, which is located in the east of Loikaw.

      Spend the night at Loikaw.

  • Day 11: Loikaw to Padaung Village. expand_more
    • After breakfast, visit:

      • Demonso central market.

      • Panpet Village where Long neck women live in.

      • Tanilarle Village where Kayah people live in.

      • Ngwe Taung Dam is a landmark of Kayah state.

    • Drive back Loikaw City.

    • Head to Ngwe Taung Pagoda, a popular spot for local pilgrimage.

      Spend the night at Loikaw.



  • Day 12: Loikaw to Yangon by flight expand_more
    • Fly back Yangon.

    • Spend the day at leisure.

    • You can choose to depart or spend the night at Yangon.
