Soe Soe sent another guide without prior announcement. The new guide was very friendly. However, communication in English was difficult and knowledge was limited.

We only had 1 in Mandalay and squeezed everything in and he arranged perfectly. He was punctual and reliable, so we had a good day with him.

We were lucky to choose Soe Soe for a week long tour of Bagan and Mandalay.  I asked him to show us both the famous and less visited places and he delivered!  We visited Salay and climbed the 777 steps to mount Popa one day which was a refreshing change from the more touristy spots in Bagan.

Soe Soe also navigated us through Bagan with information on each site.

He also did a great job with the Mandalay part of our visit.  I was worried about being in a large city, but we had a wonderful time.

Soe Soe was also good at adapting our itinerary to our energy level.

Thank you Soe Soe for making our visit to Myanmar a special trip!

Soe Soe and Tune Tune were fantastic tour guides for our trip to Mandalay. The places/ experiences they picked for our visit were exactly what we wanted to see, and they were incredibly kind and friendly (purchasine snacks, or singing backstreet boys with us).

I had a fully packed day with Ko Soe Soe and his son and covered a lot of ground which was good as time in Mandalay was short. You might want to discuss beforehand what you'd like to see as things like the monks queuing for lunch is not something I'd have chosen to do if I'd known what it was - an uncomfortable spectacle, however where I ate lunch was a fab find and would have been undiscoverable with Mr Soe Soe.

Mr Soe Soe is energetic and fun with a great amount of stories from his not insignificant time as a tour guide and hearing him share those was great.  Time at sites was sufficient, info shared was light at times. However taking into account the number of sites seen I'd be knackered trying to explain all the details too.

I am the type of traveler who typically avoids any tours or guides as I like to explore on my own. I made an exception for Myanmar and I am glad that I did, the trip would not have been the same without Soe Soes support. Myanmar is inheriently difficult for a foreigner (and especially a westerner) to get around so having a guide is important. But Soe Soe is not your typical guide who just shows you some sites and collects his payment, he really becomes part of your trip as a companion and friend. We spent 1.5 days with him in Mandalay and we enjoyed every minute of it.

My only regret is that I did not have SoeSoe go with us to our other Myanmar destinations. We had guides there who were satsifactory but not memorable. I'd highly recommend SoeSoe for your time in Myanmar. He will make a great travel experience much better.

I am very greatful for having the opportunity to be assisted by Mr Soesoe on my tour to Myanmar.

He communicated with me as as often as I needed from the beginning, making me feel  very confortable and confident in hiring him.

I was profoundly impressed by his knowledge in Myanmar ' s not only history and  geography but in Myanmar ' s culture  as well.

He showed interest in knowing my points of interests so he could customise my tour the best he could.

He is friendly and very professional, trustworthy and caring and his good comand of English made it very easy to comunicate with him.

His passion for his profession and for his country made me to look forward to visiting the regions of Myanmar that I had no time to visit this year.

I highly recommend him in any tours anyone would take ,he will be highly prepared.

Thank you Mr Soesoe, you made my tour a memorab

From Denmark we had planned a three day trip to among other Godteik viaduct. We found Soe Soe on the inter net, and after writing back and forth, we agreed on how the trip was going to be. It has been the best guide we've ever had, everything worked, and the helpfulness and openness, we will never forget. We can only recommend Soe Soe, and hope the best to him and family. This I was my first trip to Myanmar. I arrived in the early hours of the morning into Mandalay at the bus station. I was incredibly grateful that the first person I was to meet on that chilly morning was Soe soe. I had arrived in Myanmar without a travel guide book as they had sold out at Bangkok airport…. I certainly did not need one. Soe soe was available, respectful, generous, he took me to the sights but he also took me off the beaten track. He is a good listener and wants to find out what you are interested in so he can make your visit more than just seeing new and interesting places. I would highly recommend Soesoe as a Tour Guide.

Being a frequent visitor to Mandalay, I have used the services of Ko Soe Soe a number of times and found him to be highly knowledgeable and professional and with very good English skills. He is a guy that will go a long way to make a clients day as enjoyable as possible and out of any guide services I have used any where the world, he ranks at the top.
