Description

Explore the mesmerizing Meskendir, Red, and Rose Valleys in Cappadocia, Turkey, known for their stunning red and pink rock formations. The walking trail weaves through these valleys, offering captivating vistas, cave dwellings, and ancient churches. Perched on a rocky hill in Cavusin, Cappadocia, the historic Cavusin Castle boasts ancient ruins, tunnels, and spectacular panoramic views of the region's surreal landscapes. Love Valley's iconic phallic-shaped fairy chimneys and surreal rock formations make it an enchanting destination for hikers and photographers.  Explore the extensive subterranean marvel of Kaymakli Underground City, a refuge carved into volcanic rock by early Christian inhabitants.

Highlights
  • Experience red and pink rock formations, walking trails with vistas, and ancient churches
  • Visit Historic Cavusin castle on a rocky hill and see surreal panoramic views
  • Immerse into phallic-shaped fairy chimneys with unreal rock formations
  • Full Day tour of Cappadocia via Orange route expand_more
    • Hike through the most picturesque countryside and valleys of Cappadocia. Escape the crowds, enter nature, experience the essence of the place, discover cave churches, pigeon houses, and naturally occurring tunnels carved by flowing water, and stroll through the villagers' grape gardens filled with fruit and nut trees.
    • Cavusin Castle is a magnificent rock citadel previously serving as the village's main residence. The inhabitants had to carry their water to their homes each day, even though it was a relatively safe location. The Saint John the Baptist Church is still worth finding even though it is in disrepair because the community used to have a sizeable Christian population. Additionally, you can ascend the castle by taking a winding road and stopping at a few more recent residences. On the other side, as you descend, there are some magnificent fairy chimney examples.
    • Known for its unusually shaped rocks, Love Valley is a breathtaking scene. You start to wonder how exactly these rocks were made, how many years it took to create these forms, and how long they can remain as you glance down into the valley below.
    • From the Pigeon Valley viewpoint, you can see the dovecotes carved into the rocks, Mount Erciyes, which is covered in snow and grows more prominent as you get farther away, as well as Uchisar Castle and a breathtaking panorama of old, abandoned fairy chimney cave homes and old Greek mansions.
    • The last stop on the tour is one of the most incredible natural wonders in the world, Kaymakli Underground City. The underground cities of Kaymakli and Derinkuyu are fundamentally distinct from one another due to their size, scale, and indications of underground city planning, even though all towns and villages in Cappadocia formerly had safe and secure secret rooms dug out of the soft tufa (tuff) rock.

    Affordable Yet Impressive

While it was the least expensive tour available online, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the guide. Although lunch wasn't part of the package, we found a restaurant offering an affordable open buffet option. The sights covered on the orange tour were included in this one. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with the experience and left feeling very content.

Those Rose valleys were the highlights of the tour

We opted for the sunset tour, and it was absolutely magical. We were picked up promptly from the central station. We explored the stunning rose and red valleys, which were even more breathtaking in person than in pictures. The horse handlers were attentive and even took photos for us. If you're lucky, some of the ranch dogs might join you for the ride. Trust me, you've got to experience this.

    Better than beach sunsets

If you are photographer and loves clicking sunset pictures and this is the place for you, what a mesmerizing background I saw, I was with my wife and this place was more beautiful than the place we went for honeymoon,
