An Emotional and Educational Tour of Warsaw's Jewish Ghetto

I recently went on a private tour of Warsaw's Jewish Ghetto, and it was an emotional and educational experience. We started the tour at the Złota Street Memorials and worked our way through the Ghetto, seeing important sites such as the Footbridge Memorials, Umschlagplatz, and Miła 18. The highlight of the tour was visiting the Polin Museum Building, which won the European Best Museum Award in 2016. The exhibits were informative and provided a deep insight into the life and culture of Warsaw's Jewish community. The Monument of The Heroes of The Ghetto Uprising was another moving site that made us pause and reflect on the past. The tour was a mix of walking and driving, which allowed us to cover a lot of ground in a relatively short amount of time. The tour ended with us sitting next to the Jan Karski monument and having a conversation together, which was a great way to process and discuss our thoughts and feelings about what we had learned.
