Barichara's Old Town Tour expand_more
- We will start this experience of Barichara from the town’s nice and green Main Square, which is surrounded by a beautiful church and some of the oldest and nicest colonial houses and buildings.
- We will then walk uphill on the Calle Real, the main street in town, stopping here and there to allow you to “flavour” what it offers under the clay tile roofs and behind thick rammed earth walls.
- Interact with locals and see some unique Colombian exotic fruits, nice souvenirs, old-style general stores, houses, hotels, boutiques and restaurants as we proceed on our way.
- At the end of the street, we will find ourselves at Santa Barbara, the first chapel in town. Located on the upper edge of Barichara, this site will allow us access to a nice lookout point over the Suarez River Canyon, where we can end our tour in picturesque bliss.
