Explore Zagora, a small town in the Draa Valley of Morocco, named after the mountain in whose shade it is nestled. It is here that this exciting camel trek begins, passing through the beautiful dunes and oases in Bartam, Bourgrn, Chegaga, Teghrghren, and Bouzggar. Spend your days walking with the caravan as you make your way across the Plateau of Fayja, spend time with the nomads of the desert, and unwind with nights spent in tents under the stars.

Day 1: Zagora to Bartam expand_more
- Meet the tour manager in Zagora.
- Enjoy a hearty breakfast before departure in 4×4 or minibus for a journey of 90 km towards Mhamid, an oasis that serves as a caravan stop. Stop at Draa Valley.
Stop by at the village Tagounite, which houses the intimate Tamengroute Koranic Library with a large collection of ancient manuscripts; an underground kasbah; and a colony of potters who create eye-catching green ceramic pottery.
Move onwards to join your team and caravan for lunch.
Set off along with the caravan for a between the dunes and the Tamarisk trees to arrive in the Bartame dunes, where we will install our bivouac shelters and camp for the night. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight in tents or under the stars as per your preference.

Day 2: Bartam to Bougrn expand_more
Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast after sunrise.
Begin the day by accompanying the caravan to walk in the fossil-rich Draa Hamada and consume a hearty lunch in the shade of Acacia trees.
Walk in the Hamada until 3 PM before making our way to Bivouacs in the dunes of Bougrn.

Day 3: Bougrn to dunes Chegaga expand_more
Enjoy an early breakfast and set out for a walk between the dunes to relish the absolute quiet and the strange thrill of the desert.
Lunch in the shade of Tamarisk at around 3 PM.
Continue ahead towards the dunes Chegaga and install the Bivouac at a chosen location that will afford the most spectacular view of the setting sun.

Day 4: Chegaga to Oued el Mhasser expand_more
After breakfast, set off in the direction of the Jbel Bani mountains.
Walk between the dunes and continue for 1 hour until you reach a stony desert.
Enjoy a scrumptious lunch under the shade of Palm trees in the Oasis Moiht Salah.
Resume walking along the desert of stones. Install Bivouac in the gate of the mountains in Oued el Mhasser. Stay overnight.

Day 5: Oued el Mhasser to Oasis Teghrghren expand_more
Enjoy your breakfast before setting out for a walk following the path traced by the nomads between the mountains.
- Stop for lunch near Lake Amsafi around 3 PM and enjoy your meal in the shade of Acacia trees.
Continue towards the Wadi Lamhasser.
Install Bivouac in the famous Diabo Oases located between the mountains of Jebel Bani for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Teghrghren to Bouzggar via Col Foum Laachar expand_more
Enjoy a hearty breakfast before setting out to cross the mountains Bani. Enjoy a gorgeous panoramic view overlooking the Plateau of Fayja, and continue the descent to arrive at the plateau.
Break for lunch at around 3 PM.
- Continue your walk along the lines of Palm trees where Henna is grown by settled nomads.
Installation of Bivouac for the night.

Day 7: Bouzggar to Marrakech expand_more
Enjoy your last breakfast amidst the dunes before transferring to Zagora by track.
Have lunch in Agdz and then transfer back to Marrakech via Ouarzazate.
